Ahhh peppa pig! You should have said i'd have got potato city right away lol. I love the episode where Peppa can't whistle and her best friend can so she just hangs up the phone on her, i crack up every time (another rock'n'roller here!) I'd love a big enough garden to plant veg and fruit! My dad's last house had a veg patch at the back and a little fruit orchard I could spend hours happily wandering around it
good luck with yours!
And to the ex, let's hope it's VD that would give us much more of a laugh ehMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. I cant wait and already have mapped my payments. I am not making quite so much headway this month as its my DS birthday this month. The next couple of months should see us leaping ahead with payments as we dont have quite so much outlay. Well hopefully, unless the car decides to fling off its mortal coil.
Its so easy to fall into a debt trap isnt it? I was looking at cars to get an idea of price and what I could get. Anything up to 5 years old - it seems to be the done thing to finance it. I am not going down that path, I would probably be turned down anyway. I really have to just make the best of it I suppose!
Ebay still static at 19.99. person who promised to pay yesterday didnt. So will message them this evening and ask if they want to proceed. It gets really frustrating when folks dont do what they say they will!
Last night I lit the fire and I cleaned through. I didnt iron or do any surveys but I did work in potato city!
City limits are established and boundaries are marked clearly. Any cats poohing in my freshly turned earth have been reprimanded. They tend, however, to ignore my scolds.
I removed a load of stones last night and will do the same tonight. Once my plot is stone free I shall plant out! I cant wait.
If the weather is lousy later I will resort to ironing, paper logs and will try and manage a survey, I really need to do a minimum of one a day!
Just spoke to my boss and I am going to be really busy it seems
- ho hum....
All my travel next week is now cancelled, damn the stingyness of the company!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
When I eventually reach my thirty months to debt free thing I shall start another diary. It shall be grand!Trying to shift that debt!0

potato city sounds like it is coming along nicely! I wish we had the room here to grow things. I was considering potted veg or fruit but we have a north facing garden and get hardly any sun so think it would be a complete waste of time anyway!
Looking forward to the new diary...when is the 30 month mark? xxMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. 9 pounds paid on ebay, which is sitting at 72 pounds as the drunks and dancing girls have been bidding in force and that should give me a lovely leg up for next months payments.
My word the wind was wild last night. My hanging baskets are still on the walls which is a brucey bonus.
I seem to have aquired other peoples rubbish blowing round the garden though. Rather annoying. Thats tonights plan.
Last night I blitzed paper logs, shamefaced, however, that I managed no surveys and just a teensy amount of ironing.
DD2 returned from her grans/dads late and also tearful - she really needs to get over this - her dad was going "for a drink" with his lady, and this was at 8pm, and its an hour away. No one in this world would imagine that on a work night he would be returning back - and she knows it - hes saying to her hes not staying there at all, but its plain to her and anyone else that that is the case.
Sigh
I just need her to give her head a shake and realise that he has to have a life, and he might not ever manage to tell her the whole truth because hes incapable of managing to maintain the truth for longer than ten minutes....
As for my thirty months - as soon as I can make up some ground. Aided by ebay and making my own washing powder I should be shaving pennies off every week. Just got to get myself sorted.Trying to shift that debt!0
