Skint,
Ive missed so much on your diary . So sorry to hear you are feeling rubbish. Look after yourself, cosy up and rest. I am so glad you have your shining star around to look after you as well. We all need a bit of spoiling sometimes.
Take care xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

IM still ill, just had a bowl of soup so things are looking up.
Just popping in to say hi.
Lots of no spend days going on.
Excitedly watched the new pope earlier. I love a news event or a manhunt.
Havent done anything of note. No paper logs, no surveys.
Le sigh.Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Sounds to me as though you need to give those paper logs a miss and concentrate on getting better and not worrying about the money so much. You do loads, you need a bit of a break and to sit and chill with a bowl of soup and the Pope !!
We watched that too, only being a bit dippy the girls and I thought it was the fella in the red on the balcony and decided he was a bit creepy, but then the real Pope appeared in white and realised our mistake ! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

haha its not like we would have known who he was but he got a cheer Justin Beiber would be proud of.
I admit the warm up guy was a bit spooky.
Just calling on to update some figures, still pretty exhausted so not able to do much.
Hoping I am improving soon as this has gone on ages!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
I am almost human, apart from an occasional throat ripping coughing fit and a sudden feeling of overwhelming weakness, Ive even addressed the post which came today and I am feeling pretty much AOK.:p
News for the week:
I didnt manage any new ebay listings last weekend. I had already photographed them but was not well enough to manage to list them. However, I relisted 98 items. The other ones will wait til next free listing weekend and hopefully their ranks shall be swelled with other amazing items.
Husband and I will begin to watch out on ebay for some bundles of clothes for the kids for the summer. We can then then begin to sell their cast offs as they are replaced with the next size up. As we are in austerity we are keen to limit our spending as much as possible and so we shall continue with the ebay ethic.
I got my council tax bills for both houses, so I have asked if I can spread the payments over 12 months. Beauty of this is as well, if we get a tenant soon, which we should, I just need to pay a proportional amount. Instead of 270 a month its 180.
Husband and I are both getting some bonus this month, of 210 pounds. Its going to provide the emergency cushion. Its currently at 100 pounds, not so bad. However I may have to travel with work next week, so that might end up being swallowed up. I was meant to travel this week but as I havent made it out of bed for 5 days travelling up north wasnt really going to happen.
Also have organised a debit card payment every month of 300 to Amex. That means it will clear, at the latest by September. I am making minimum payments on everything else and overpaying the vanquis. However, I am cycling money through my aqua and capital one card for things like mobile phone bill, daughters guitar lessons, sons football, shopping etc.
Half the money which is in my current account on payday will go to aqua the other half goes towards the outstanding card payments.
Its great to know im going to be overpaying Vanquis by 200 a month and overpaying amex by 150.
Made some paper logs tonight, just three and I will be getting the kids on shredding some more paper.
Onwards and upwards. :beer:Trying to shift that debt!0 -

:jto feeling better. I am too. Not quite up to par yet but definitely on the way there.
That's great re the overpayments. I always concentrate on one card at a time until it is paid and do it as the snowball tells me and pay highest rate first.
Have a good night xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
I know MiT, ideally I would repay the vanquis first but Amex is a hangover from the breakdown and I want it gone. Its one which inspires my darkest feelings and I need to remain motivated, so I need to get rid of it in conjunction with Vanquis.
The overtime I will work I will put to vanquis. The quicker its paid the quicker its gone and the more I pay this month the less I pay in interest next month. So while Amex is repaid the sky is the limit with Vanquis.
Im still not firing on all cylinders but I am going to list some ebay. didnt realise it was a free listing day!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Quite right doing that with Amex then as you just need to do whatever makes you feel good. I'm going to do some listing today too so no doubt I'll be moaning later moaning as it bores me to death xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Ive done my ebay. Ive also paid 6.56 off cards, and added it to money made and money paid off.
I also watched the football and sorted my tops drawer and my skirts out, and I have some more listings now to photograph.
I am going to work through my DS drawers this week too.
Ive 110 active listings.
Not bad.
