2 days to payday and I have already made the minimum payments on most things. It was well worth being organised. Ive got to keep on with this next month as it definately works.
Another countdown is 12 days to Month 29 on the trip. This month has been a real uphill with the illnesses and whatnot.
Had confirmation from Amex that there will be, once the repayment period ends, a small balance left to address in September. 6 x 300 and 1 x 174.44 remaining.
Ive mapped out all my payments and my 30 months are realistic.
I just have to make sure I am getting it sorted.
Hopefully will be able to claw back at the debt free date a bit more once these large payments start to tell.
Am back at work and really tired, think I will head home at half past three, so shattered.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Sorry to hear you're still under the weather SBO..do take care of yourself. Have lots of drinks and make sure you eat (sound like your mum dont I..sorry:o)
A bit further back you mentioned losing your cushion (well done on having one btw..I dont anymore) as you'll have to travel for work..surely they should pay expenses if its not a commute??

Yeah brizzled they do pay expenses, but unfortunately we reclaim them after the event. They can take up to 2 weeks to come through.
However, I have managed to negotiate travelling after payday. A brucey bonus. I am ok to travel as I can claim overtime.
Just used my buffer (which was at 75.00) to pay things in advance of payday. I need to establish a 250 buffer I think - and have the same on a credit card for emergencies.
Thanks for mothering me, I need all the help I can get. I am currently eating salad and drinking water. I sound like I should be a waif, I am not!Trying to shift that debt!0 -

One debt remaining. Home improvement loan.0 -
I have sat and done some sums and I have allocated all my disposable income to bills. I will have nothing left over. It will be up to my husband to get food coal and electric.I hope he can manage his budget this time because this month there will be NO room for error.
Its my daughters 13th birthday and its my sons birthday next month. Both kids have a 150 pound ceiling on what they can have - DS would like some Thomas stuff and I can use his birthday money to get some stuff for his holidays. I am finding the money for the kids birthdays. DD would like a new television so I will get a decent one from Argos clearance.
Once I have made my payments I can update my signature. Thats going to be the good bit, as I will be able to see why I am doing this. I am going to have to hang fire and pay my vanquis once the child benefit and my child support is in though. With luck ebay will sell a little and I will not have to find quite so much.
11 days to month 29 too. Its flying in!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
