  • I have vague recollections of back in my dark days asking why I was rejected (more than 6 years ago) and they said I had to ask the credit ref company for copy of report and go from there. This was for a CC btw, not a mortgage, never been turned down for that yet and hopefully won't be. Soooo based on that I've thought they can't see it in full? but with today's technology who knows.

I just need to get my butt into gear and get it paid off asap.

  • Not at all, its an appropriate question! i would be rejected for a card, but not a mortgage so on that basis I think it depends on their search.

I work for a financial institution, but we are investments and we do certain checks at a certain level. Its basically the first level checks people exist and checks their account and sort code are valid. There are other levels of checking, there is a score given even at that low level however its more a proof of identity thing. So on that basis and knowing the software they use there are other levels you can select, which are more expensive per search. Theres one which can give a score and lists some ranges. And there is one which provides historical data. Im not fully conversant with it, as I do developments rather than day to day business. So I know the systems exist and the levels - so what I think could happen with a mortgage as it carries more gravity is they go for the highest level report. good news for the likes of me. If not I dont know.

  • Wilcos, Surf 20 washes for 4 pounds and lenor for 1.50. Bought a euromillions ticket as well.

Lunch was tuna and cucumber sandwiches and I have some chocolate chip cookies to go at as well.

Ive had a slow work morning so have worked my way through more comps, so far I have entered 15. I am hoping today to enter 50, and to get some questionnaires done later.

Ebay wise someone has picked something up from us, so thats another 40 pounds to the good. Sales are sitting at 23.99.

Free listing weekend so will list a number of 99p things tonight (freebies) and get some stuff photographed and then hammer the free listings over the weekend.

  • Right my checklist is like this....

ebay is photographed. A few free listings to keep things ticking over, done. Fire lit, as its cold. Questionnaires done to death. 20 comps under my belt, and more to come now. Ebay still at 23.99. Thats fine by me.

Oh and a glass of bordeaux, spot on..

  • Ebay sitting at 36.50. Lots and lots of listings completed over the weekend. Also did some work in the garden and sorted out the herb beds.

Went to my sisters and my parents, did all the ironing. Had to go shopping on saturday but didnt spend much.

The weather today is making me unhappy. I say its making me unhappy, its not helping my mood. People around me dont seem to value my opinion at the moment. I am an intelligent person (a bit) so why to people feel the need to speak to me as if I am an idiot? And I feel so frumpy, old and fat and - well like a service industry, of laundry and cleaning.

    Merde.

Quiet at work today so I am going to do some comps. Will call back later.

Ebay sitting at 40.49 at the moment.

Well done on the comps - I don't seem to be getting anywhere with them at the moment. I'm at work and should be working but cba, theres too much to do and I'm stuck doing someone elses job but without the recognition!

Chin up hunny, it will be home time soon.

  • Oh I know but its not getting any easier is it? Wading through treacle at the best of times! Ill get over this hump and I will be fine its just so frustrating.

Ive written what I need to find and pay for this month and can just about make it at the moment. I had to pay out a 400 pound petrol invoice and expenses didnt come through in time and wont until next pay day.

    Hey, will manage. Always do.
