  • Got my balance and thanks to my overpayments the interest has taken it down by 349.54. Ive upped the overpayments by an extra ten pounds a month now - I am currently overpaying by 40 pounds. Its not my most expensive borrowing but its my largest one and biggest monthly commitment so I need to tackle that alongside my other stuff. Onwards and upwards!

  • 1169 days to being debt free isnt so bad really. I shall pop it on my Sig.

  • Its july and its time I repaid another debt. Might speak to the husband and see whether I can borrow off him to repay vodafone - I know its the house fund but with not needing it all immediately we can maybe get rid of it. I am sure that will help with my credit report - perhaps give me a better rate on my mortgage.

  • Its a measley 200 pounds, if I wasnt so strapped with some more expensive borrowing I would be able to pay it no bother. The thing is if I get rid of another thing with a comparable balance, it will cost me that but it will mean I have an additional 55 pounds month on month so I want to keep focussing on those. I shall ask my husband if he wouldnt mind paying it and I will pay it back to the house fund instead.

  • Monday morning and been in the ranch since 7.15 (work) so having a time out now and a bit diary time. Feeling positive about things at the moment - today I shall pay off at least half of my remaining vodafone and the rest by the end of the week if the transfer has not come through in time.

Still waiting to hear about the house price discount etc.

Must ring the builders who quoted some work for me at the other house (lord we are taking our time over that but its illness and lack of money) and see if I can do half of whats on the quote and half next month. Just so we arent too strapped for cash.

Making headway in the saving and paying debts thing, as per ususal. Ebay sales were smashing and fifty quid was sitting in paypal last night, promptly transferred. After post Half of this will go to debt, the other half we use for family fun times. As otherwise, we just dont...

I listed 2 brand new items and relisted ten as well so we have plenty more potential sales. I also photographed another 2 lots to list and will be sorting some more listings later I imagine.

A further 95p paid off Amex today (they will be thrilled with that one) and I shall update signature shortly.

Saturday night made pies and peas and had the family round for the olympics. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and were very proud to be british!

Its just keep swimming at the moment - am due some child support and child benefit is due next monday - I will top up the groceries and the remainder will go to debt.

I think this Saturday we might do a road trip to see my sister in Scotland, where she is going with her caravan. Its just a couple of hours but I think it might be nice.

Hope everyone is ok, give me a wave, this diary is turning like the inside of my head!! x
