1165 days to being debt free, 8 working days to 2 weeks off..... 1.45 paid off amex AND more ebay listed last night after we had been working at the other house. Tonight we are going to the wedding photographer to finally pick up our photos, and having tea with my MIL, once I am home I will need to iron for DD is going to stop at a friends wednesday (and I need some work blouse type thing) and I want to continue checking my sons cupboards for outgrown clothes (one drawer at a time...) and of course will photograph and list a couple more ebays.
Once I have done the clothes we will look at the toys and sell or donate a few of them.He is over run!
As we are sorting the other house, we are still finding things we can sell on ebay. This is rather good! Last night I found things as diverse as a brand new in box lcd flip down screen support, a millenium coin, a belt buckle and some star wars figures.
I am contacting my mortgage lady today and chivvying that along (200 per month saving to be had)
Tomorrow night I hope to cut the grass as it is growing like billy o with this rain and sun !!!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Contacted the mortgage lady, the issue wasnt with her and because its a right to buy purchase I am currently chasing up the Housing Association to see what I need to do (I am wanting a mortgage to cover the cost of an extension as well but apparently I need extra permissons as well as the planning permission) - this is all rather complex.
End result hopefully, bigger house which we own..... cheaper monthly outgoings and debt coming down need to keep on at all my different schemes so that we can get the debt free date to be even sooner!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Have you set yourself a deadline for when you want to move into the house? maybe that would be a good idea to give yourself a date to work towards0

HI there kamranplayer, I am not moving out, I am completing a right to buy - putting on an extension and doing up another house which was awarded to me after a divorce.
I had a timeline but I have been ill and its knocked everything back. Things are moving forwards now and we are making real progress with both houses.
as soon as possible is the timeline for the do up of the other house (just waiting of builders) and Im at the mercy of right to buy beaurocracy with the other.... as long as I have everything in place Im doing all I can right now....Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Why dont people respond to my mails immediately? Anyone would think I was harrassing them for answers.... oh wait....
Am mighty disappointed no fresh ebay money cleared in today so the cards arent getting their trickle feed of funds.
Ive around 50 pounds sitting in my bank account, until the child support comes in tomorrow. However the child support is fully flagged to vodafone, ive dipped into what I borrowed off the hubby to get some food shopping. Never mind, thats still 50 pounds left til Monday when I get child benefit, then its a week til payday and in the meantime ebay will be flowing through! I just like to keep paying little bits off everything.
My overpayment fund is sitting at 12 pounds which is to be added to my routine 65 pounds. Hope to get this built up some more too, as it will help massively, however its just a share of the spare money so its doing the best it can.
I will be keeping hold of the 100 out of the child benefit and using it for some food shopping. The other 34 pounds odd is going to debts...
Excitingly though firstly on Friday, I will be able to state that vodafone is FULLY PAID and my next focus will be added to my signature. Its going to be Rise as its a quicker win than P2P and its going to mean after a month and a bit my over payments can be 120 pounds easily.
So first things first. I best get on with it.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
