I really need my finger out to clear rise with the monthly charges being fairly hefty its going to be tough going. then I need to give them a months notice in writing. so it might take a couple of weeks to fully close it. to be careful I will overpay it by about 5 pounds to cover fees.

Had a busy night last night and having a busy day so far this morning. Got a meeting in ten minutes so best go and find somewhere to have it!!The days are ticking down Skint, as are the days til the holiday from work. I love my job but it is stressful and demanding and I am so grateful this week to be off work. Even though I am only doing housey things.
Well done on the Amex payment...slow and steady wins the race. Maybe not the 100m but you know what I mean0 -
Cheers Yes I like the fact Amex is on its way out now. As its not attracting interest its not getting my overpay officially! Also I feel like my renewed focus has made me more likley to keep going with the ebay and the work at the other house - I am getting some real results already and I know my next thing to tackle. I have my intelligent finance savings pots ready to receive their pennies of savings, my egg banking account ready for the emergency fund and I will be overpaying on 4 accounts for different reasons. Tonight I will bag up my pennies ready to pay in the bank hopefully tomorrow.Trying to shift that debt!0

1163 days to being debt free, 6 working days to my jollybobs and 1.91 paid from amex. The sun is shining and my necessary purchases today include a paddling pool and various other chuff.
Got into work early and have already started so will also leave early. It might be a smidge too hot to work at the other house today. However I will cut the grass for my daughter because she isnt well and see what happens later, I am pretty tired today and not on top form.
And there is a rank old cow in my office who is giving my milk away to visitors. How bloody dare she.Trying to shift that debt!0 -

Had an email from the local authority regarding my proposed extension following my rtb.
they said well, just send the plans on and thats enough for us to comment.
Ive asked them for some up front guidance on what we should be looking to avoid or include to help the process along.
