I woke up this morning and I wish I had been able to turn over and go straight back to sleep. Lord help me, I was shattered. Being back at work again full time has had an affect in other ways too. My ankles.
Now, I love a stiletto and a a nice pair of Heeled Mary Janes, but being the mother of a small boy and 2 doggies and recently discovering a love of gardening means I am rarely found in these things. I need trainers, wellies and military style flat boots or flat pumps to fulfill social events, as you are often called upon to race after him.
Therefore my heels are making my ankles ache. At times like now when I am sitting at my desk and not in the main office area I can sit behind my desk and pop my slippers on. Classy burd.
Today I have had money into my account. The child support is short- but I have some money. I will treat myself to a pair of gardening gloves and get some bits in and also I will post ebay … I know how to live. Also need to buy some crickets for the tree frog and tarantula. I like them to stay happy.
The plan this evening is to iron, wash (Laundry!!!! Scourge of the Mother!!!) clean out the fire, sort through some of the daughters discarded bedroom chuff, hoover wipe round and photograph some bits of ebay I can list tomorrow as its Day of thor otherwise known as ten day listings will finish on a Sunday day. Also both toilets could do with a doing over.
However, my eldest has texted me earlier asking if I am busy later. I responded not particularly why? As the above does not denote being busy, merely a normal day of working motherness. I did offer to help her sort her spare room out but I am hoping whatever is required of me can take place at my house while I am doing some of the above tasks or else I will be seriously behind on my works!!
The husband doesn’t know it yet, but hes making the sausage and mash for tea!Trying to shift that debt!0
