Thanks I have been ridiculously busy
Van hiring gardening, potty training, working, moving, cleaning washing decorating, sorting mortgages, attending hospitals and vets.
Im back again like Gary Glitter.
However, not with the sinister overtones.
Moneywise things are plodding along. Ebay wise things are continuing apace. Ill get my backside organised shortly and do some totalising and whatnot.
PPI - I am claimning for hods of it still, have complained to FOS about Lloyds, as they forget I have settled a debt with them. Also discovered the old marital mortgage had a nice front loaded PPI on it. Ive written to C & G today.
Moneysaving wise, I am still being frugal.
Any questions on the list of key words I will answer i could bore you with the minutae but to be honest, its not Jilly Cooper-esque, my van hire was to move furniture nothing exciting and I think I like the challenge of a quickfire round!
Hello all, Ive missed you. I just was ran off my tootsies.

You might not want to ask about one of the listed words, which is also fine.Trying to shift that debt!0

Right am going to do a series of meaningful updates and will likley ramble on.
My repaying amex, isnt going that well. In fact, it is a bit rubbish. I am going to start to address that. However, my husband is being a bit crabby claws with the ebay money. I dont get it from him and I pay the postage. He uses it to buy things with for us - which is nice. However, I have said I want postage PLUS 50% of any profit made. I can satisfy my additional payments, and he can save half for a night out a month.
will monitor this! Hes a terror.
The dog has been poorly. Shes 12. She has had an interspinal bleed, and she lost the use of her front legs. Shes on steroids and she is getting better, it is upsetting though. I worry so much. Shes getting there now.
Hired a van and emptied the husbands grans empty house. All that furniture is now in the house to be rented out as a furnished let. All of it was good stuff, and we have got some stuff like occasional tables we are going to swap over.
the husband wants to grocery shop on his own this week. this could be a bad idea. Although I am not a fan, hes more liable to see things like langoustines and duck breast fillets and think they should be purchased.
I need a nice simple workable plan for life I think.
Child tax credits are now zip.
Child support has gone down to just over 200 a month, from 300 a month. There were four months where I got nothing and got a tiny amount for a further 2 months.
Tiny amount is just under 60 pounds, shouldnt complain really....
Lets think - oh yes. My credit report is o... k but in August it will look much better. Nevertheless, I am pressing on with an attempt to get a mortgage to buy my council house. loan to value on the right to buy is only at 60% and once I have bought I can then try and get a release to build an extension on the back.
Either way, the difference in rent to mortgage is 50% so thats a massive saving.
Childminding is a bit of an issue at the moment. I am a little upset and let down by my childminder.
well as you know the rates went up by 1.50 an hour. This appears to be much more expensive than many others.
There are 2 of them a husband and wife team. The idea is if one of them is under the weather the other will take care of the children.
This hasnt happened and the wife has been ill 2 days this week. My husband had to work from home on monday and on wednesday my eldest - who has just come off her nursing nightshift - had to look after him.
The reason was because she was ill and had been since saturday in her message to me.
However, when I went to drop my son this morning she said she was out on saturday night and had got in the middle of a fight accidentally. She was sporting a black eye. Now I cant afford to go out on a night every week. I am paying 800 pounds a month for childcare.
It just feels a little iffy right now and I have lost a lot of trust. I also have to check my invoices a fair bit, because I find I am overcharged sometimes as she forgets I have booked holidays. this has happened twice.
My son is happy and I have been happy but I dont need this, with my level of insecurity. I need people I can trust.
Ive enquired at a new place, and will have a look about. I needed to change before infant school anyway, as my current minder isnt in the village.
Also, the mad cat woman is avoiding me. This is good.
My birthday went well, went even better with wine.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
