My daughters tree frog is constipated so we will have to pop back to the vets today.

And this my friend, is a quote which could have only come from your diary:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Bad news on the childminder, what a fandango. Sorry I use nicknames for genitalia as general insults - I reckon its all down to my job ;).

I know your son is happy, but maybe shopping around wouldn't be a bad idea. Maybe recommendations from friends?

Hmm quite! Although thanks to a trip to Urgent care with the little un, we seem to have all contracted Norovirus. I lost a day yesterday, and it appears my daughter and husband are in the process of losing today.

My son, who was attending Urgent care for a chest infection, is now, thanks to amoxycilin, on top form. Its proving exhausting to stop him from getting this rank bug and to just catch him. My "trying not to puke while changing a stinky nappy" face made him laugh and say "mammy growl face" .

So this weekend nothing we had planned has been executed. However, breaking news, mortgage is agreed in principle. Forms are filled in for the purchase. This will save us 200 pounds a month, not to be sniffed at.

I shall sit here with the energy of a diabetic sloth and make lists of what I need to do as soon as reasonably possible. Good news is I am off tomorrow, can do my baking and whatnot here, with strict handwashing, as today I am just weak not ill, thank goodness. well thank goodness I am not like I was yesterday! I was at the hospital all night with the boy, came home at 5am after having his sat levels checked, and went to bed. Was due a haircut at 8.30am, but rang the hairdresser at 8, exhausted. went back to sleep and DH looked after the kids. Woke at 10 and was ill! Then I seem to have infected everyone else. I got out of bed next, this morning at 11.00am. I had spent about thirty hours in bed.

As for childminder I have a list of childminders from the local council, so I can have a look around. I am asking friends and will go to surestart and see if there are any drop in childminder sessions - where you can meet them.

Anyway will go and watch the football properly.

    Take care all!

  • My kids went to childminders initially but after being let down 3 times by different ones I started using nurseries. They were much better and kids loved it. Might be something for you to look into x

Hoping you feel better today :).

Good luck with the baking, handwashing and keeping DS from the dreaded norovirus! Fantastic news on the mortgage. What's your plan for the extra £200 a month?

  • Hello I am returned after a weeks holiday when I have been levelling the garden.

Its more like a mud bath out there. I am much better and feel like we are making progress.

Mortgage sorted yipee. All forms submitted for our purchase. The additional 200 will be used to wipe a bit more off the debt.

Got a new childminder, and its going to be 200 a month cheaper there, too.

Husband gets a payrise this month, so thats another 150 a month.

    Hmm there was something else...
oh yes.we can both purchase childcare vouchers so that should save us 75 pounds a month. I am going to sign up for mine tonight.

All go. Hope everyone is ok. The dog who had the stroke is doing famously. She was trampolining again with my son yesterday.
