    I have Christmas tree OCD!
    BUT...
My tree is all multi coloured mostly in bright colours but they all kind of match 'cause they're all bright. I just don't like tacky decorations! Maybe I'll change when I have kids! I got some great ones from acessorize in the sale last year really cheap!
I think having thread where we could all post pictures of our trees would be lovely!

I have two trees which are colour co-ordinated, one is cream & gold the other is blue and silver. I still have a lot of stuff from when I did the small tree pink, but have managed to keep a lot of my original stuff and use it within the two trees. I found it doesn't cost a lot to change and still include origninal bits that I have had since I first bought my own tree.
Last year even our outside lights co-orindated white and blue. But think bugs bunny is going up this year as well so won't be the same.

I do colour co-ordinate, but I have to say, I do love the 'every colour under the sun, thrown together by 3 children under 10' effect too! (Unfortunately my 6 year old boy is not especially interested in tree decorating as yet).

My tree is white, silver and lilac, with a snow-scene under it made from cotton wool, glitter, and a few little snowmen type figurines! It's a bit naff I'm sure, but I love it! If you want to have a look, it's here.

(Excuse the stereo lurking underneath - had nowhere else to put it lol!).

    Thanks! :o

It's definitely an MSE tree, as all the decorations came from Wilkinsons or supermarkets etc, and I only buy 1 or 2 new things each year to go on it so it has cost me very little.

I'll go and have a look at the other thread now, and post the link on there too. Some of the trees people have described sound fantastic, can't wait to see them!

Our Christmas tree is all pinks, purples and silver. Only because we bought all the decorations last year for our first Christmas together.

It's quite nice, not very traditional though.

    Ours matches too.

All we have on it is lights and baubles, 2 sizes in different shades of bronze and gold, our front room is blues but with brown leather sofa chairs and a brown carpet and lots of maple wood , this is only the second year we've done it and the first one since the new decor but it should look good! I think on the top last year we had a star table decoration because the tree was so big all the toppers were far too small!!

My bf thinks tinsel is a bit naff and from being a child where we never got new decorations so had the same tinsel for about 10 years I agree unless it's the really thick stuff but I like that our tree is simple! less to store and take down every year!!
    Hell yeah!!

I have to colour co-ordinate, Im very anal about it too! My girls really wanted coloured lights but I like clear so I now do 2 trees. One in the living room which is all fancy gold decs and one in the dining room which is the girls tree that is full of candy canes, gingerbread men, candy garlands etc. I let them decorate it themselves but seriously TWEAK when they've gone to bed!!!
