I have received a letter from Shopand Scan telling me that I "have been scanning little or no shopping recently". They said that they think they did not get a reasonable amount of barcodes from me in the last few months. They said that "hope I remain in the panel however, failure to scan all my shopping may result in termination of my panel membership".
What do they mean by "reasonable" amount of barcodes? I do scan every product I buy and never failed to send them the barcodes. I shop on offers/deals and dont buy a lot. Could it be a problem? Have anyone experienced the same from them?

that's interesting - I buy 90% of clothes, furniture, books, cds in charity shops and hardly any of it has a bar code, I just enter it as total spend in other shop. Also I bulk buy anything boring on offer - like soap powder, cat food, baked beans, so some weeks are very light, maybe only 10 items on the till receipt. Also we freeze loads of stuff and eat it well past it's recommended month or two, so I hope they realise everyone isn't a clone.

I got confirmation of the scanner upload, but only after 5 minutes of staring at the screen. It uploaded in 2 sessions with a silence inbetween, most weird, I'd do the scanner again, if it's empty it'll do no harm.

I have managed to upload using the app (using IE it couldn't open the site). I don't think it has cleared the clicker though.

Are you supposed to send details of second hand purchases? I thought they were only interested in new goods.

no idea really, they are new to me.

Have been attempting food diary for hours now - there is no such thing as potato, apple, avocado, banana. Have phoned them and there's just a recorded message with opening hours on, so left a message. A very frustrating start to the week

Ooooh no, they are only interested in what you buy new, not second hand. It says it somewhere, not sure where, but you may get kicked off if you keep doing this.

I spoke to them just now about my problem, and mention it was hellish yesterday - lady said they had loads of emails etc and anyone who missed the midnight deadline would still get the points if they upload today, and the website is now fixed.
