Yes - what's up with it? Of course OH didn't bring in the washing so i arrived back to a line of soaking washing! But I think it might have dried now - at least there has been some sun!

Hi Taxi
Sorry you had bad weather for your car boot. £42 profit is good considering.
Hope you get better luck weatherwise for the next one.Anyway it is free money for the debts:D
We had good weather here today but it is raining now.
Me and Oh spent the afternoon assembling my mums new aluminium garden furniture for her - she made us sunday roast as a reward and we cadged the old hardwood furniture for the oldies so good result for everyone.

Hellllllooooo taxi!
So sorry I wasn't around when you asked questions about how much to price things up for, for the boot sale. Been away at a friends all weekend.
Did you sell those items you needed advice on?
Well done on the £42 though - it all helps and considering the weather....that's not so bad. Yes definitely go back and do another one when the weather is better.
I wish I had enough stuff (and a free weekend!) to do a nice boot sale somewhere. I really need all the cash I can get!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Hi all...well I'm trying to be productive.I've had my paperwork out regarding the previous mortgage and had paid £150 admin fee..so have just phoned the Bank of Scotland and they took my details and said that somebody would be in touch within the next 5-10 days!!!...so don't know whether I'll get anything back or not...they said they'd had loads of calls!!!
Will be going to the bank tommorrow to make a overpayment on my Barclays card....will add up after how much I've got....but...£102 DD was paid to them today anyway....not a lot more debt busting going on though...
Will just keep plodding on...0 -
At least you are plodding on - some people go into reverse!
Hope you sell all those books & get some ££ back from BoS then.

Thanks LA...theres a couple more things in the offing at the moment...I rang my brokers for taxi insurance earlier and he came back with a quote for £1080.77 which is £490 less than last years...but am trying to get a few more quotes but it's looking good and he said He'd price match other quotes...
Also at the moment i had BT for line rental £10.50 per month, Talk Talk for calls..variable but always 0845 or 0870 numbers and Tiscali 2mbs for £14.99 and now will have 8megs,line rental and unlimited anytime calls £19.99 p/m ...so a big saving plus getting compensation off them for the hassle I've had...the high customer complaints section is dealing with it...so I hope it goes smoothly or else I'm off...they have been great since I reported them to ISPA...and are really trying to sort the muddle out...so we'll see!!
So I've sort of been productive.I think I will look at all ougoings again this week...I tend to look at everything every couple of months to see if there's any saving to be had...might even post a SOA you never know!!!0
