Just wishing you a sunny and profitable day tomorrow, taxi. I'm doing a car boot sale too tomorrow, the first since all the bad weather made the fields into quagmires round here. Weather forecast isn't too brilliant for our area tomorrow but so long as it doesn't teem down I'll still go. We've so much to clear out (a lot of it OK but an equal amount which could only be described as 'well-used'). But I'll take it anyway as people tend to buy the things I never expected to sell:rolleyes:

Don't start your prices off too low. You can always come down a bit if people don't like what you're asking. And everyone haggles over the prices at boot sales anyway, it's part of the fun!

Make sure you go to bed soon if you've an early start in the morning. I'm off for a bath and my bed soon too as I need to leave the house at 6 a.m.:eek: .

Hi everyone...came home from the car boot about 1.30pm as it was pouring down all day...I made £42.50 profit..so not too bad...if the weather is nice next week I will do another one.I sold quite a few things but obviously there wasn't as many people about as normal..
I've put the money away to pay an overpayment on the barclays card...I have £265 towards an overpayment now.

I wasn't too pleased with my takings as although it was a lovely sunny morning there were so few buyers about! If it rains they stay away and if it's sunny they find something else to do:mad:. I made £62.75 and although I'm always very grateful(not to mention amazed:rotfl: ) when anyone buys my stuff I really thought after a 'drought' of car boot sales because of the weather and the fact it was such a lovely day that I'd have sold a lot more.I seemed to have more stuff in the car to bring home than I took:rolleyes: . Oh well, there's always next week.

I'm putting my feet up now with a lovely pot of tea and MSE. I hope you're doing the same.
