    Morning Vanessa and all,
At last I've had a decent nights sleep so am feeling a little better. The weather looks quite promising so the washing is done and on the line. Not a lot I have to do today..so...that's good!!!...Got to go to the accountants about lunch time apart from that I just need to pick a couple of bits up and fill one of the cars..so quite an easy day...even tea is easy as I cooked a chicken last night..so theres plenty left for tea...
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend..take care xx
  • What a nice idea of Hypno's to suggest a rose for your friend, and what a shame she won't have a garden.

When I left one job some of my colleagues gave me a lovely orange rose called 'Remember Me' which was a wonderful idea. I planted it where I could see it from my sitting room window every day and it always made me feel so happy just looking at it as it had been a lovely place to work with the nicest colleagues ever.

Can't think of much else, not very good at choosing gifts for people unless I know them really well:o . Sorry.

Some roses are good in patio pots, so could even be used on a sunny windowsill.

My mum was always a great one for buying rose bushes with an appropriate "name" - always a lovely gift without costing a fortune. There are lots of "fun" names for fuschias too which make lovely pot gifts as well.

I hope you have a good weekend, taxi. Remember to relax!

Evening everyone...well i opted to put £10 in a card as I didn't have much time to look around...but the rose idea is fantastic...so will do that for somebody else.
I dropped the accounts off....yippee...so my accountant will be doing those once back of his holidays....I always dread the call that tells me how much to pay the tax man...though not expecting it to be too high as we were on a rubbish firm..so weren't making as much as expected...
My DD has just left my house..we have sorted the stuff for a car boot tomorrow....so I will have to go to bed early tonight...so hope to make a few quid tomorrow but you never know!!
So will relax now and try not to do anything else tonight...have a good week end all

Put your feet up, have an early night, and have a very profitable day tomorrow.

    Good luck x

That's the summer weather for you!

It is very quiet though, but gives the opportunity to have a snoop around the other forums and see what goodies I can find there - I never seem to make time for the freebies board for example.

    Hi Taxi
Good luck with the car boot sale tomorrow.Hope the weather stays good and you shift lots of [STRIKE]carp[/STRIKE]bargains from the house:rolleyes: . Its a great way to declutter and make money at the same time. Not done a boot for a while but used to enjoy doing them, especially when kids were little and had mega amounts of stuff to clear out.
Anyway hope you have a profitable day.
