    Here's hoping for a good night's rest!

Good luck with the accounts - and hooray (for you) for tax deductible stuff! :D

Thanks LA....I'm determined to get them done as they are driving me mad!!!...I will start tomorrow as think I will make mistakes doing them tonight as I'm quite tired...I so hope I can sleep tonight...It's great when you have a massive credit card bill...enough in the bank to pay it and get cashback...and all off my tax bill...how things have changed...this time last year I would've been about £4000 into my o/d...So think I've come quite far...
I can't believe I've been off work al this time and haven't missed any payments...THANKS MSE...and all my friends that have helped me

You've definitely come a long way - avoiding £4000 (potential overdraft) is certainly not to be sniffed at!

Thanks LA...it's funny as sometimes I sit here thinking I'm getting nowhere with these debts but when I joined in Oct...I owed £37000..so have cleared quite a bit...I couldn't have done it without all of you on here though..and I can't believe how much money I have wasted on bits and bobs over the years!!!...
My next big bill is my taxi insurance renewal due 7th september...I hope to pay this fully in cash as well..it will be somewhere between £1000-£1500 and if I can do that without hitting my overdraft...I know I'll have come far...but...what I will do I'll put it on my cashback CC so will have another couple of weeks before it comes out of the bank..then that's all my big expenses done!!!
Then I can crack on with putting my tax money away and making some big overpayments on the CCS and hopefully pay them off before they start charging interest....
So that's my aims for the next few months..

Oh you *have* come some fair way taxi!

I know what you mean though, sometimes when you are on the inside looking out it's hard to look at it objectively. I am the same.

But you have to think about spending habits and attitudes as well as the 'big numbers' as you have learned to spend smart, see what is in it for you and, most importantly, avoiding adding to debts with 'silly' purchases.

You've done brilliantly, especially given your off work status too.

You must give yourself a HUGE pat on the back!

Fab work, and a big difference from last year.

I hope you manage to sleep well tonight.

    Morning all...hope everyone is well...
Well it looks like it will be a nice day today...my washing is in and is nearly finished so can go on the line shortly.I don't have too much to do today just drop something off at the office,go to the bank and to pop in to see a friend. Will need some soap powder in the next couple of days so may pick some up today.
I will start those accounts later today.Slept a little better last night but quite tired today but think that's the antibiotics.
Have a good debt-busting day all

If you are tired today, then PLEASE do not do too much - you will make yourself over tired and then won't sleep well tonight, or it will all catch up with you at the weekend and hit you like a ton of bricks.

    So, my orders are.....SIT DOWN!!!!!

Oh, and have a good day x
