Grrrrr tax. I don't mind paying it in principle but it's a blow every time the bill comes round. People on PAYE don't know they're born!

Hope you're having a nice weekend. I'm off carbooting tomorrow. Better get off here and go and pack the car.

Hi everyone ...sorry I haven't posted for a few days....you'll all probably think I'm stupid but as you may know I have 7 stones to lose and this has made me depressed..I've tried SW ...weightwatchers and everything else but lose a few pounds here and there.
My friend is on lipotrim from a chemist and has lost 10 stone so far and is really happy...it's the same as lighterlife which cost £65 p/w...but is £30 p/w from the specialist chemists....
I started this last friday..you may all think I'm mad but it's safe as obesity hospitals and gps prescribe this diet...it's 3 shakes a day a bit like slimfast...please don't all shout at me!!!
The other pee off is Barclays I paid them £252 the other day as an overpayment..so just checked my account to see if it was showing...it was ...my £108 min payment is due out on the 13th but it said no payment due...so I rang them to see if they are taking it and they aren't!!!
They are a pain I want them to take min every month and I want to make an overpayment on top...any other bank doesn't have a problem!!!....if you make an overpayment above the min before DD comes out they don't take it!!
Thought they wanted their money back

Hi taxi. Good luck with the weight loss thing.
I can't say I think 3 shakes a day is a good diet however you will do what you feel is best. However it might be an idea to let your doctor know what you are doing - you don't know if your body needs specific things to assist it's recovery since your operation i.e. certain amounts of protein for example.

Please talk to your GP - it's free and it will set your mind at rest and you'll have the answers for any doubters as well (like me!? :D) should anyone voice any concerns over the plan.

As for the Barclaycard....can you set up a £108 minimum payment for the next say, 12 months with online banking at home? Or over the phone with your bank? Then if you want to pay more, you can amend it over the internet or with a quick call to your bank. I guess I mean a direct debit but you want to be able to change it.

(So would that be a standing order then? :rotfl:)

Hey Taxi - Sorry you're a bit down. I have to say - I NEVER would have thought you had 7 stone to lose!!! I hope the diet is healthy and suits you well. Fishface69 has been doing lighterlife - she seems to love it.

Would agree about setting up a standing order - how annoying of Barclays - but well done on the over payment :D

    Hi taxi

Sorry to hear you've been depressed. Good luck with the new diet - I've read two posters on here saying they've lost loads of weight so hope it's the same for you, and you can go back to eating real food soon!

Barclays, what can I say.... banks are scum basically. Just grit your teeth and look forward to the day when you'll be free of the lot of them.

Hope things are good and you're feeling brighter soon.
