On the plus side, Taxi, you seem to be feeling physically stronger with every day. Nothing is worth more than good health as without it life is just a constant struggle. Don't worry too much about the little repayment setbacks, you are without a wage at the moment remember. Try to enjoy doing some of the things (in a DFW way of course:rotfl: ) that you never had the time for when you were working. You'll go back into the fray more refreshed and rarin' to get those debts paid off.
So here's to your return to total fitness and every success on making a massive hole in your debts when you get back to work:beer:
Take care

Thankyou Impondasp...what a nice post...that's so true...I have to learn patience....I forget I don't have a wage sometimes and then wonder why I don't seem to have paid much off ...lol...
I've done loads of sleeping this week never mind I must need it.I need to think of some enjoyable things to do instead of whiling my life away wondering how to pay more off!!
Thanks take carexx0 -
Hi everyone..hope everyone is well...what terrible weather it's like winter!!!
I won £40 on a scratch card at teatime...I had £2 in 20ps and just felt like buying one...I don't usually buy them but something made me...and I won..so that's cheered me up...
Apart from that pretty much the usual kind of day..banking etc..
I still haven't done those accounts...will do them over the week I guess...
OH and I are off to manchester for the day on wednesday...as he thinks he wants ultralase on his eyes....he won't when he finds out the cost!!!...he's paying the train fare and I get to look around the shops...I rang him at work to tell him I'd won £40 and would pay the train fare but he said keep it and I might find something to spend it on....he's so sweet....0 -
taxi, your OH sounds like a complete gem. Has he got any brothers?
Well done on the scratchcard win. Being a good DFW you will of course use it to pay off debts, but perhaps you could keep a pound or two back for a little treat in Manchester.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
He is a gem(when he's not having a temper tantrum..lol)....he wants me to treat myself but I'll pretend I can't find anything then I can pay it off debt...well done on your 1000 post!!0

Have a good time in Manchester - I hope the weather improves for you when you are over there. That's lovely that your hubby is paying the fare too for you.

Have a good time in Manchester, I had mine done with Ultralase 8 yrs ago but I know a friend who used Optimax (who also sell on E bay : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Laser-Eye-Surgery-Treatment-from-395-or-12-pm-x36mths_W0QQitemZ110142744310QQihZ001QQcategoryZ75084QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ) for a lot cheaper than the shop !

Hi Taxi, good news on the win :j
IIRC Sammy115 had laser treatment recently but it didn't cost the earth. Maybe a search for her threads or a quick PM might give you/OH some inside info that may be useful. I am fairly sure she bought hers off ebay. Strange thing to buy on ebay but seems to work!!

I agree,hypno, it does seem strange buying laser-treatment on eBay:rotfl: .
