Hi Hypno...that's one of the reasons I'm doing it...buy what I can afford when I can...when i mentioned it to one of my daughters..she decided to do it as well...I have 3 grown up sons and 2 grown up daughters and 1 grandson 2 years old...grandson has got a scalextric and a kiddie laptop...I bought too much last christmas so put these away...they were 3 for the price of 2 at boots...I've loads of toiletries for the girls and haven't started on the boys yet and both girls have a partner...so plenty to buy I used to give all the adults £50 each and spend about £100 on grandson...no longer..things are changing...0

Silly me....forgot about what I've been up to today(don't get too excited not very interesting really)..but...proud of myself anyway...kitchen sink scrubbed and drainer...loads of washing done and dried in tumble dryer(ahhhh) as it was raining...bedding changed and washed and put back on bed....shopping done at Aldi...£10.55...a few more corners tidied around the house....
This may not be a lot of housework done to many people but it's a lot for me and am feeling better now...will attempt some more tommorrow....but at least I'm getting bits done...so will eventually finish it all...but then I'll have to do it all again...lol0 -

Hi all...what a miserable day ...it's absolutely pouring down here!!!...I can feel another boring day coming along...I don't know what to do with myself today...guess I'll probably end up pottering about...may get a bit of cleaning done...who knows....
I've set myself up to a challenge of paying £7000 off by christmas ..so will have to see what happens...it would be great if I could manage it!!!0 -
HI taxi
Well done on the cleaning yesterday - sounds like more than I'd do in the average month.
I'm glad you joined that challenge. I'm in it too, aiming to pay off just over £6000 by Christmas to get under the £35 mark. Not sure how I'm going to do it but I needed a challenge. Hi Seaxwyn...hope you're ok...I hate housework at the best of times but it's so depressing looking at it!!!
This challenge is quite daunting and all I can do is try...good luck to you too....feeling a bit down today but don't know why!!!0 -
Well done Taxi and Seaxwyn on committing to that challenge:A . I considered it for a split second but the enormity of it scared me to death:eek:. I'm still at the baby steps stage:o . Have joined Dezzi's one to make £1000 in 2 months, that's more my speed:rotfl:
Good Luck to you both:beer: . I read your diaries every day so will certainly be following your progress on that one.0
