Hi everyone....how are you all?
Not been on here much the last couple of days as I'm trying to get some of this mess cleared up!!!.......I've kept up with the washing and today cleaned the bathroom and sorted through /shredded/filed loads of paperwork...I've so far done all the stuff laying loose around the house and my next step is the filing cabinets...when this is done I will then be able to do the accounts...so still loads to do but seeing as I'm aching I will either do more later or tommorrow...
Isn't it hot today?...very heavy weather....0 -
Hope you've not been doing too much - remember you still have some healing to do.....

Hi everyone...hope everyone is well...not been up to much really ....have now sorted the paperwork from the filing cabinets ..so have been a little tired and achy....also managed to tidy a few areas of the house so feel a bit more positive about that...it will be finished eventually...
Got a couple of bargains today in our local superdrug...original source shower gels 89p each ..so have bought 6 for my daughters (2) christmas hampers...I'm doing everyone a pampering basket this year....so look for bargains when out and about...
Not a lot of debt-busting going on at the moment...paying minimums and waiting till later in the month to pay extras off as I've done a proper budget to incl;ude car repairs...
So will go and have a read now..take care...0 -
That's a great plan with the Christmas hampers - lovely idea
I've been buying things since Jan for Christmas and birthdays - got a little stamp set reduced to 25p the other day!

HI taxi
Well done on the tidying - and the hampers. I must start looking out for christmas stuff now we're nearly half way through the year. I'll pop into superdrug and see if they have the same offer on shower gels down here.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Evening taxi! :hello:
Just popped on to catch up as I was thinking about how you were doing earlier. Goodness me you've been busy! I'm seriously impressed but, as we always say to you; don't overdo it!
Oh for God's sake though *more* forms for the holiday fiasco? Poor you & Hynpo...get short shrift for !!!!!! holiday luck and have to drag things out to get something back. Makes you wonder how many people just give up and then, how much companies get away with eh?
As hypno says - keep fighting.
Good idea re: the hamper and even better idea not to do debt cos of Christmas!
Anyway I have to go now as I have a bit of house sorting to do myself....namely vacuuming upstairs and giving the bath a once over (did the loo & sink earlier)...such joy for a Tuesday night!
Take care hon and catch you again soon.

Hi LA...nice of you to pop in....I was wondering where you were...I'll not overdo it...honest...
I was debating whether to give up on this holiday thing but for £72 odd it may be worth the risk..
Hope you don't have too much housework to do...0 -
Hi Taxi, love the idea re the hampers. I have been wracking my brains to think of hamper ideas now for all the nieces and nephews we have and have bought lots of bits so far - glow sticks, crayons and all sorts. It is a great way of buying things when you can afford it and/or when they are on bogofs!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
