  • Yep - you have a plan mapped out and OK sometimes we have to go off-road a little bit but, as long as you're not meandering miles off track then it'll all come good in the end.

Anyone know anyone who's life goes absolutely to plan, down to the last detail?

Hmmmmm.....thought not! Or if you do I bet they are reaaaaaalllly boring and smug....now who'd wanna be like that?

    ;)

Yes At Last.....and They Phoned Me This Morning Offering The Compo I Didn't Have To Argue Or Anything...how Goods That!!!!
  • It's great they have finally got their finger out and sorted it.

I think - if I am honest - £50 is paltry compared to what you had to go through however, who needs any further hassle trying to get more!?!?

Quite rightly I bet you just want to put it behind you and move on.

At the end of the day they have sent me a free modem, paid for all my phonecalls while they have sorted it all out and only charged me 14.99 p/m for 8megs rather than £19.99...so with £50 compo as well..I guess it totals about £100 and at least I have a proper persons direct number for high level complaints as well....
Now I have 8 megs anytime talk and free line rental £19.99 p/m whereas I had 2megs bb for £14.99 before line rental bt £10.50 and calls with talk talk..so quite a saving now and I've been with nthem 4 1/2 years with no problems up until this time and better the devil I know is how I was seeing it...so didn't want to push it really
  • Fair enough - when you list it all down it's not a bad package is it? :D
I didn't mean anything by my post though taxi....I was just being defensive for you cos I know you went through a load of stress and !!!!.

OK I am off to bed - shattered. I did say that 5 minutes ago but I keep getting sucked in to threads....but I am going this time! I am I am!

Hey taxi! How are you feeling today?

No worries re: your post! I didn't think you sounded stroppy but I wondered if I had 'irritated' you with my comment about it not being a lot compared to what you went through - so thought I had best cover all angles really!
    :D

Anyway I really hope you are feeling a bit better!
