Hi LA...you think it can't be any worse or can it?:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ...Hope you're having a better day than me....who could be having a worse one?...this week has driven me mad...OH just been on the phone to say the system is going to be down for another 24 hours..   he's threatening to come home but hopefully due to my foul mood ...he won't...and I'll have to put up with this crap tommorrow...great:eek:
So maybe sunday might be a good day...or else a bit of retail therapy may have to take place only joking:rotfl:
I'm so fed up...just spoke to accountant again...he's going to send a nasty letter to the inland revenue on my behalf...and I'm giving him cheques for the accounts...they're wrote out but I will hang on for a little while to keep the interest on my account
  • Hi everyone, sorry not to have been around for a little while. Seems everyone is having problems at the mo.

Well our DFW thing this week was to trade in both our cars and get 1 which is slightly bigger and will tow a caravan. So back to relying on hubby to drop me off and pick me up. I know it will be beneficiasl in the long run but I felt like I handed in my independance when i handed over my keys.

Other news this week - dad went in for a heart bypass today. We thought it would be in the new year as things had been delayed but there must have been a cancellation as he was taken in yesterday and had the op today. he came out an hour ago and the op went well so a big relief!

Kind of puts things into perspective really.........

Hi 1 step closer...I wish him a speedy recovery...you'll soon get used to hubby running you around again and think of all those motoring expenses you're saving
  • Thank you for your kind thoughts! Yes being chauffered is rather appealing.....but the car is mine on Sundays........even if i just drive round the block!

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi Taxi

Sorry to hear about your horrible day - you have my sympathies! Not been a good week here either - car needs £500 of work to get through its MOT and mortgage goes up in January by 70 quid a month! But am determined as you not to let it push me off track. We will sort this debt! Thanks for the reminder about tax - need to get mine in before January. Hope yours gets sorted.
  • I know you are right but the novelty will wear off believe me!

Our mortage has jumped up as well........

Hi Mizmir...it's sort of sorted I rang up the taxman to make sure the payment slips were on their way ...the accountant sent the returns in August..and due to going away in Jan..being the good citizen I am..I wanted to pay them and they said they hadn't got them!!going to drop the cheques for the tax into accountant and he's going to send a nasty letter to them..he has also re-sent the tax returns to them today...it's even hard work to pay when you want to pay...that's even more annoying..
we will get there...I'm bloody determined...sorry about the car...I had car probs mon...roofer around tuesday...new aerial today..it never ends this week ...glad I'm on MSE as the food shopping was £3 this week...ahh well can only get better
