I use Orange Glo Laminate Floor Cleaner. You just shake a few drops directly onto the floor then rinse it off with your mop & hot water. It's not cheap (£8 for 1L I think), but a little really does go a long way. It gives a nice shine without making the floor slippery.

We use a Quickstep mop type thing and cleaning fluid when the floors are cleaned properly. Today I used Stardrops on a small area and nearly fell on my butt, it made the floor slippery.

It won`t be slippery if you dilute the Stardrops in hot water-a decent squirt will do!

Agree with janb5 - stardrops diluted for using on laminate floor, and it came up great, and no sliding on the floor whatsoever, just nice and gleaming.
  • Have just moved into my new house and it has laminate flooring. I dont have any cleaning instructions for it and realise that it can be damaged by too much water so would appreciate any hints and tips on the best way to clean it. I popped into Tescos to see if they have any special cleaner but couldnt find any.

thanks in advance for any help.
