Cleaning laminate flooring???

I wash mine with a well rung out mop. In the bucket of water I just put a tablespoon of stardrops. As you said the most important thing is not to get it to wet. If I want to give it a good sheen I dry it off with a microfibre cloth on the end of a swiffer style dusting brush. Also use this to give it a daily sweep over as the main problem with laminate is it gets so dusty.

I agree with Joannasmum, make sure you mop is really well wrung out. If there are any stubborn marks I rub them over with a washing up scrubber and a bit of stardrops. The great thing about this flooring is you can get any mark off it, even paint scrapes off easily0

I use a flat microfibre mop, which is really easy to wring almost dry, then add a bit of cleaner. I'm still using up my bottle of Astonish No Rinse, but will try Stardrops once that's finished.0

Hi
Would these recommendations work on wood floors as well??
Thanks for the advice will be following the thread to see what you all suggest.0 -
I've had varnished wooden floors and laminate. I didn't do anything different on the wooden ones. But the woman who varnished them for me told me never to put anything stronger than weak washing up liquid solution on them. They had all sorts spilt on them though and never needed any more than that.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

I got the best investment ever for me in the form of a magic mop from Dunelm mill. It squeezes out to nothing and i mop my kitchen floor and it dries within seconds. cost me £3.99 and is fab. Would think it would be good for laminate (with a bit of stardrops of course!!)
Gingham Ribbon - i clicked through on the link you put there (as i thought i had also commented this on a previous thread and just wanted to check i wasnt repeating myself) but the link didnt work for me, might be just me...0 -
