Hi Poppymoo,
There's an earlier thread with lots of advice on cleaning laminate flooring so I've added your thread to it to keep the suggestions together.

THANK YOU!
Will get Stardrops - am I right in thinking only add a drop Stardrops?
What sort of mop do you use??
Do you use Microfibre cloths at all?
For years I think cleaning has been much harder cos I've used what I thought were good products but usually weren't!Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I find stardrops can make flooring sticky, might just be me. I tend to just use very hot water. One day I might be more organised...........

I've changed how I do mine, and it's much easier. I just sweep them as often as [STRIKE]I can be bothered [/STRIKE] is needed! Then about every 2 or 3 weeks, I give them a good go with the steam cleaner. So much easier. I love it. Especially for round the high chair. :rotfl:May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Also dont be tempted by the Mr Muscle Laminate cleaner or Asda's own brand laminate cleaner etc etc as these contain a high soap content. Its smells nice but leaves a greasy film over the floor.
This can make the surface look hazy or faded, and imprints will show, sucj as foot marks etc0 -
i have laminate which in two places has dulled where a chair was on it which im really not happy with (especially as its rented!) any ideas to bring it up to a nice shine again??XxCrafting for 2009 items doneOne patchwork blanket, two neck supports, one tea cosy, one knitted bunny, one knitted egg!0

I've got a laminate floor in my sewing room and just use a well wrung out mop when it needs it.
It's three years old now and still looks as good as new.I just use a bit of flash liquid or stardrops in the water.0 -
I use a little stardrops in hot water and wring the mop out until it is almost dry and it comes up sparklingBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
