Hi All
I am interested in buying a new or fairly new supermini car, that will obviously be cheap and economical. I heard from a 3rd party that Drive A Deal were doing a brand Peugeot 107 for £5700 (3 door and no extras)
http://www.drivethedeal.com/quoteme.asp?budget=&manufacturer=PEUGEOT&model=107+HATCHBACK
Straight away as usual I thought I would look on this site to see what the "experts" think, but was astonised to see not a single thread on this deal. Now I am thinking this is either not a great deal or this site is not geared for new car deals?
Anyway ideas on this deal would be most welcome.
Thanks

Decent price - also consider a Fiat Panda and Kia Picanto which can both be had around the same price.0

Kilty - thanks
Yep your right. But I dont really like the look of the Panda and although the Picanto is not bad. I feel Peugeot is a more recognised manufacturer therefore hopefully more reliable.
Pricewise - it does seem a bargain right?0 -

The 107/C1/Aygo is a joint venture between the respective manufacturers. That said it is way off normal Toyota standards in terms of build quality and reliability.
The Picanto, if you are worried about reliability, has a standard 7 year warranty. The man without a signature.0 -

Peugeot have a terrible reputation for reliabilty as per any French manufacturer.whiskywhisky wrote: »

I suppose so, but my Picanto was £5550 OTR after finance deposit contribution0 -

.
But at least a couple of thousand if not more between the cost of a 107 and the C1/Aygo - surely more weight to this being a great deal?0 -
Erm, isn't a C1 about £6400?0

I don't know, but I thought that was about the normal price for these cars? Apart from the Aygo.0

That price I believe is if you take their finance with interest payments.0
