    I had dark cadbury sort of purple and lavender at my first wedding in 2003. I still love the colours together with ivory, but obviously it would be a tad odd if i did it again!
    saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.
    We're 29% of the way there...

    Another commoner here, we're having purple too, along with ivory, silver and a touch of gold just because I don't like all silver or all gold stuff, think a mix looks great (I hope). Our venue has a purpley decor so won't have too much purple decor, just some balloons and some purpley tartan ribbon on the invites/cakes. Love all the other colours though, but not changing my mind now.

    It's a winter wedding, so I thought those colours were cosy, classic and generally pretty.

    mine going to be blue and brown because I promissed my late Granny that I would have a blue wedding cake it's a family tradition. But whatever you pick I'm sure it wil look amazing.
