I've gone for lemon yellow and dove grey - i love the look but it's been a pain in the bum getting the right shades of everything. I'm there now though i think. I still don't like my BMs shoes, but not much i can do about it at this late stage, pretty yellow shoes seem to be hard to come by within my price range. Flowers look good though:

Nothing is booked or bought yet, wedding end Oct/beg Nov 2012 but as my ring is a sapphire I am thinking dark navy blue bridesmaids dresses, and I like rustic, country style so for the venue (which is an old oak beamed building) going with an autumn/halloween theme as its that time of year, pumpkins, berrys, ivy and candles and lots of fairy lights for decoration. I would describe it as country-autumn-fairytale-shabby-chic!

    Love the lemon/gray colour board.

I am thinking next autumn too - carrie you make an interesting point about an autumnal scheme.

I love purple so was wondeirng about plum/blackberryish colours -and maybe also some greens and blues

i think lots of colours would be easier to manager than just 1 - but then I hear about people's perfectly coordinated yellow/red/blue weddings and think that must look so perfect! hard to decide!!

here's an example of what i was thinking for autumn colours: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UnHZfyOYACc/SqizoAtCV-I/AAAAAAAATOU/MB6EcNyR-7I/s1600-h/IMG_8888.JPG

My is snowflake theme...with a hint of silver and I am not sure which other colour..really struggling.

Suppose we can't finalise until we have chosen the venue.

I think I'd like merlot...or Cadbury purple. My partner wants midnight blue..the first potential venue is done up in Christmas colours or red, green and gold.

My OH wanted red, black and white as he's a man u fan, I only agreed because the Manchester city third kit was also red black and white.
The tables are being named after legends associated with football, the top table will be called Jose Mourinio (The special ones...!)

To make it more weddingy the colours are now dark red, ivory and black.

Mine is purple too. My bridesmaids are in purple and we all have purple shoes. Going to have purple gladioli flowers for decorations and purple roses for my bouquet. Am slightly worried that almost half the folks that have replied to this thread are having purple too. I'm feeling rather common :)

I think purple is very sophisticated and is in so many shades that they don't 'look' as popular as it sounds!

I agree purple is a popular colour but there are so many shades that it can still be unique and personal on the day :)

Love those flowers, the hydranger especially!

I would really recommend having two colours, as when you can't find the thing you want in one colour, you can go for the other. I also love love love my grey choice, it means that the groom can match too!
