Just a thought only because my hubby does nowt at Christmas.
It always seems to be the women worrying about the food, the decorations will everyone fit round the table, are there enough presents, are they wrapped correctly, are the cards written, have we (sorry I) forgotton anyone, the list is endless, whilst my other half sits back and eats the whole ruddy weeks shopping before I have had time to put it away grrrrrrrrrrrr
Any men out there doing their bit? please there must be??
Kind regards X X

My bf does absolutely nowt. I'm the one that does everything. I buy the presents, wrap them, write the cards, put up the tree, cook the food, blah blah blah. I do the lot but then he is a scrooge. I am hoping this year maybe he'll get a visit from the 3 ghosts and be happy and helpful0

I do it all too, bu then I wouldn't want it any other way. Control freak that I am!...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

O/H cooks the main meal ..... If I want to do it ... he preps everything for me ... the boring chopping and pealing and he washes up as I go along
He does the serving up.
If I huff and puff enough or say "I can wrap better than you can!"... he even takes over the wrapping;) :rotfl:
As for the gifts .... kids do their lists ... I locate said gifts for cheapest price (current bargain 5 Nintendo Advance games for £50!!:j ) he pays
or I order online ... or if I have seen something in a shop/reserve an item ... he will pick it up.
Now ..... that's helped me typing that out ... was racking my brains trying to think of his good points when he was being an (_Y_) :rotfl: :rotfl:
Edit: almost forgot ... he also gets my gifts from himself and the kids ... but I do tell eldest to watch him .... last year he spent more on one of my gifts than I had on all the gifts I had sorted!!!!I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!I thunk I've made you think for a minute!:j :rotfl: :j0 -
Now my daughters are grown-up they find my husband's expression as they unwrap things he has never seen before hilarious. He tries for a hint of "ah yes! that book by, um, whatsisname that is actually very familiar to me".0
