-rubella (thank you Tommys!)
-current medication effects on fertility & pregnancy (inhaler and I also take antihistamines every day because I'm so allergic to lots of things!)
but that's it!! Need more questions so I don't feel silly!!
Fingers crossed Emsbet xx0 -
Thanks guys.
sorry I can't help with any questions to ask as I didn't go to the doctors beforehand - it never occured to me!Ooops!
Magicboo - I'm sure there is one sort of antihistamine that you can't take during pregnancy but hopefully if that's the one you have they can give you an alternative.

I don't have the Tommy's book - what's the Rubella issue? I think I'm OK as I've had it, but still....Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

Ah - slight confusion there. I meant I think I've had Rubella, not the vaccineDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

I had the Rubella vacine in school in the first or second year of secondary (1992/93) they gave that to all the girls. Then the year after they gave the MMR to all the kids. So I've had it twice and figure that must be enough!
I should think you had the vaccine at school at school COMP and you're right you most likely had Rubella (German Measles) as a kid. I know I had almost every childhood disease as my mum didn't vacinate us for a while after one of her friend's sons had a massive reaction to one and ended up disabled.

I can't remember if I had it or not, I remember getting some vaccines as a kid but not which ones! I'm booking in for a blood test with a nurse at some point to check. The advice is to make sure that you are immune as if you were to get rubella whilst pregnant it could be seriously damaging for the baby
Didn't really get much more out of the Dr than I already knew (no pate, no unpasteurised cheese, no salami... I love all of them!) but she did say that with the pill that I'm on I don't have to finish the pack or anything, I can just stop taking it whenever so I can take my last pill on the last day of honeymoon then that's it! She couldn't be clear about how long it'll take to get my system back to normal though as I've not had a visit from AF since I switched to it 4/5 months ago, lets hope it doesn't take too long!
I had expected her to tell me to start taking Folic Acid but she didn't, luckily I'm one step ahead of her!

Hey guys hope you are all well. I have just started doing the 30 day shred DVD for my wedding - with less than 30 days until the wedding:rotfl::rotfl:
Phew it was tough! Hopefully all this exercise and good eating (well sometimes!) will get me in good condition for TTC as well as the wedding
Hope you all have lovely weekends xDebt Free Wannabe by 1 January 2016

Oh, please do update us after the docs as I also have an inhaler (rarely used now though) and take antihistamines from March to October, and sometimes in between when a random mossie finds me and makes me his b'tch! :mad:February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Oh, and ladies, my Mum had an immunisation booklet for me which was always updated with which vaccines I'd had, and when. So, it may be worth asking your parents if they have one for you too, so you can see what you have and haven't been vaccinated against and when.
