Hi Goppers!
Of course you're welcome to post.
Ooohh, your nightmare sounds horrid!!
Mmm, I love McDonald's, but I have to stay away otherwise I eat it too often and get fat! lol
I wasn't on a diet, but am thinking that I need to start one as have gained a few lbs lately. WeightWatchers has worked for me in the past, but I find the weight loss stays off if you change your lifestyle for good. So, I've requested the sports and dance games for the Kinect and am going to use them, along with healthy eating to try and shift the lbs.
Not sure how well I will stick to this though! lol
xx
OH COMP! I almost forgot! LOVELY wedding pictures sweetie

Morning all. I've given up trying to do work as there is a man drilling holes in our internal walls (about 3 foot from my desk) so I've come to play on here instead.
I haven't braved a weigh in this weekend as I was stuck in a hotel all last week with lots of work meals out. I tried to be as good as possible (sushi, no dessert) but I'm not getting on the scales till next weekend! Bashed out 14.4 km on the cross trainer yesterday to try to make up for it.
Goppers - I've lost about 5lbs so far (started at the beginning of May but was scuppered by a horrid cold for most of May). Only about another 30lbs to go!
Emsbet - congrats and hope everything works out.
I want to add my thanks to COMP and euronorris for this thread - I'm starting to think that when I do start TTC I will just disappear as the TTC thread seems to be a bit scary.
I've been starting to look at how much everything is going to cost when we move back so that I can start to get my head around budgets etc. I went onto the Sainsburys website and  at the price of fruit and veg! The shopping I got for £7.30 on Saturday would cost me about £25! Admittedly I did get stuff like asparagus, fresh raspberries, fennel bulbs as well as all the basics but still. It's going to be such a shock. On the other hand not paying £1.20 for a tin of chopped tomatoes or £6 for a box of Frosties will be grrrreat!
Tying myself in knots over my latest essay. Think I just need to blast through it then spend some time editing. I get exactly what it's about and can witter on about it quite happily but then when I come to write it down....:wall: I'll get there! At least I know I can work out the day's stress on the xtrainer then plough through some study safe in the knowledge that hubby has made a scrumptious veg and bean chilli (v mse as it costs pennies to make and is so filling and nutritious)

Hi everybody!!
Sorry I've been MIA I've had a busy week with good parts and bad parts. More about that later...
First of all a huge CONGRATS!! to COMP on her wedding (hope you're lying on the beach reading this!) and emsbet on her BFP. Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy!
So sorry to hear about your BF mb30. And yours confuzzled. Also hoping you don't have to join our waiting ranks bigzippy. Much as your drop-ins are always extremely helpful!
Glad to hear you're on the up Triangle!
In my little world, I've been working my socks off but had a lovely day Saturday cycling 30 miles with OH, with a picnic enroute. The little trip computer thingy reckons we burned 1250 calories each so hopefully a bit of weight loss this week. It was much needed after a horrible week at work!
I had some routine bloods at the same time as they were checking my rubella immunity last week (I have an obscure blood disorder as well as the PCOS so I have routine bloods anyway), and the results came back this week. I got a very cagey message from my GP saying they "showed some abnormalities" which they need to confirm before they discuss them with me, so I have to have another blood test on wednesday. It's totally freaked me out because she's never been that cryptic before, and I've never had to have a repeat so I'm figuring it's not the usual abnormalities. My older brother died of leukaemia in 2006 so I tend to worry over blood tests anyway. Just want to KNOW, good or bad. Waiting does my head in!
Sorry if I missed anyone! Just read through about 8 pages!

Scared is an understatement! I am absolutely ruddy petrified!!So is hubby lol. Its inevitable from day 1 we were going to do it. We put it off for 9 years lol. It really is one of those things that you will never be prepared for. When sis was pregnant she didn't even feel ready right up to the birth. And when little man was born she was like where the hell did that baby come from. It was only at the point they left the hospital with it and got home and looked at it that it hit them! He was here to stay thats the point they had to transition and it took a good 2 weeks or so to get used that he wasn't going back anywhere and he wasn't borrowed or being baby sat! LOL.
But yea I don't feel ready. But practically we are married, settled down for 18 months now, he has a stable job, I have hours and now days that suit me well - 20 hrs so part time. It's as perfect as it could be on the practical front. Well except for the support. Hubbys parents don't live near, my dad has parkinsons and my mum is an adult child so really can't even look after herself let alone support me but we'll be fine ... I think ...0 -
Oooh I missed out another July one. MelonLemon! Will you be the beginning - middle - or end of July?
Will be beginning to middle for me.0 -
Hi All,
sorry for you sad news minted & confuzzledand :grouphug: but please take it as the group hug sign, not the 3some!!
Our 21 month old nephew came to visit us yesterday, seeing my DH playing with him made me properly broody for the first time ever-I swear I could feel my womb throbbing!! I have always loved kids, but seeing that-aw, it was so gorgeous-I want him to have his own little man to play with!
Also for the first time ever I'm impatient waiting for AF-I'm reading all these horror stories about people waiting 100days + for their first period after stopping the pill and convincing myself it will be me!!
Hope you're all having Happy Mondays!!
