Not on a diet as such; but trying to eat healthier and have cut crisps, chocalate and diet coke out (small blip on sat night as had a few drinks), eating lots of veg & fruit and drinking lots of water - must be working as two collegues asked if I have lost weight + mum who takes no prisoners commented on how well I looked and how my skin was glowing - gotta love Mum:ATwenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. well my pill free 7 days ended on Friday and I did NOT go on to my new pack of pills and will be using other protection until we are ready to TTC, as suggested by a lovely forum member on here. Been okay so far but starting to link every symptom from tiredness to headaches to that! Have done some googling (the world's greatest and WORST invention at times!) and it is likely there will be some symptoms so glad to get it over before and just thinking how much greater it will be to be energy filled and symptoms over when TTC. I like the sound of the rapid weight loss symptom though!
Hope everyone is doing well, I know I pop in and out of this thread quite a bit but I'm always lurking and keeping up!!Debt Free Wannabe by 1 January 2016

Woo, that's great news LegalBlonde. I was getting frequent migraines on the pill. Only had one or two headaches since I came off! Ahhhh, the relief.
Will you be tracking your cycle from now on?
Had quite a graphic convo with the OH last night about childbirth and c-sections! Then apologised for being so graphic, but he said it was good for him to know some more of the detail and what to expect so he can support me properly when the time comes, and isn't taken by surprise either. Ahhhhh, bless him.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
OBEM! lol. My man saw some and went Urgh what do you wanna go through that for? That's discusting. Your mad lol. And then that woman screaming the place down and he said do you really wanna go through that pain?
Funnily enough he now has stopped trying to convince me ...0 -
Middle of July for me (37 days and counting) the closer it gets I'm getting more terrified and think that I might just delay but then I see sense and remember how much I want this.
It's the waiting part that I'm not looking forward to, I'm such a worrier I don't know how I'll think about anything else!
On the topic of McDonald's I had an excellent fishfinger happy meal the other day-it really did make me happy!0 -
OMG I hadn't been counting it in days! That makes it too real! Waaaaaaaah you scared me all the more now!
My feelings are exactly the same as yours so we are in the same boat which is nice. I worry about everything. (Not good for IBS) and i'm already worrying about if I won't be able to cope with the pregnancy, the birth, the after birth - waaaaaaaaaaaaah.0 -

I do wonder how much we'll actually worry about this stuff when it comes to actually doing it though. I think maybe our bodies will just take over and do what they have to, and we'll just be along for the ride.
I don't know. I was discussing the pros and cons of natural childbirth vs c-section, going by what I've read and the experiences of my sister and SIL. I want natural, if possible. Although I had to explain the potential for tears and subsequent stitches. And what the recovery time is likely to be either way (providing no complications). ANd then we talked, briefly, about potential complications and the impact they would have etc.
He took it all in his stride. Whereas I said it all, and then had a 'what the f*** am I doing?' moment! hahahaFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Euro try and do as natural as possible unless you need the medical intervention...after a section you seriously cannot bend or turn.....its the worst thing when your baby is crying in the hospital cot and all you can do is buzz & wait for a midwife/nurse to come and hand you your baby:(
The emotional effects of a section is far worse then the physical ones imo!
for a natural birth, you're right your body kind of takes over and you just have to go with the waves of pain....its the best kind of pain you can have(obviously I'm only talking about labouring..I'm too posh to push dontcha know!:rotfl:)1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:
