OH, foolishly, warned me that he would need a couple of years to get used to the idea before we started trying. So guess what, I started talking about it then, and have gradually increased the frequency of baby/future related conversations since that day! hahahaha

My hubby was like that lol. So I did same. He is really funny when he talks about it. He talks about it like its someone else. Converstation last week: "If a couple were to aim for a spring baby [STRIKE]we should[/STRIKE] sorry they shoud start trying next month then if it doesn't work out there are a few more spring months for them to aim for"

Haha, my OH doesn't do that. He talks about when 'we' have kids, and 'our sons' (oh yeah, cos we're only having boys apparantly!) will do x, y or z.

Last night, he decided that he couldn't wait to have kids as he could get them to gang up on me with him, by tickling me (I'm VERY ticklish). ANd then I reminded him, that if they took after me, I could just tickle them back! HUZZAH!

So, naturally, not only does he want boys, they need to be non ticklish too! I'm not sure how he thinks this will happen just because he wills it to. *gasp* Maybe he has supernatural powers that he's been hiding from me all this time.........

OH always said to me that he'd need time to get used to the idea too. I hadn't intended to start 'working on him' until this year, but then in September last year I got a text from my brother saying that they were expecting a baby. OH looked so devastated (probably the wrong word) it was heartbreaking. I knew then that he was ready emotionally, it's just the finances and the wedding that's stopped us!

Ah yes it used to be when we have kids. Because the when was so far away it didn't matter! Not its imminent he has gone into 3rd person dimension lol
