Husband and I received cards this morning and are full Visa Debit Cards with a £100 cheque guarantee limit:eek:   ...no overdraft but dont have a salary as such.
Have registered the card and just gone onto their online banking and all seems very easy. Ordered a chequebook and some stationary.
Description of card!
Card is a aqua blue colour with Citibank written on top-VISA sign in top right then chip below and below chip and big DEBIT CARD sign. Account number accross the front with just the sortcode on it-also a reflector dove flying when you move the card. On back signature strip with the numbers, Delta sign on the back with the £100 cheque guarantee in a small box that reflects and is shiny.

Nothing much more to add to everyone elses posts really.
I am a discharged bankrupt ( bankrupt Aug 2005, discharged March 2006 ) and applied for an account last month. Everything came through within a fortnight although I would recommend not going for the better account, just stick to the sterling current account and don't request an overdraft.
I now have a "proper" Visa debit card rather than the Electron card I've been managing with.
Thanks a lot for the recommendation.

Just a quick reminder to everyone - be careful when using the visa delta card (switching) as we are noticing it takes around 2/3 days for transactions to be processed.
We previously had a Natwest Step a/c with Solo card so are used to transactions coming off instantly. It is a long time since we had a Visa debit card and didnt remember it taking this long for money to come out.0 -

I used my card for the first time in the co-op the other day, and Iwanted to see how long it would take to come from my account. When I got back home I checked my balance and the money I had spent had been deducted from my account. By that I mean the balance was showing that funds had gone but the transaction did not show on my account until a few days later.0 -

Hi...it's in the internet banking bit...on the pull down options
Also here is an email I recieved from quidco after voicing my concerns r.e the pound transactionHi anna, Thanks for your enquiry. As it says on the Citibank page on the Quidco site, 'This will initially appear as £1 referral rate and should change to £50 once your account is actually approved and active. This can take around two months.' So hopefully this will be approved by around the beginning of February. Thanks,
*uber helpful eh??!!!*Mrs Storeyxx
