Little John i think you may want to look back through a few posts
And i'm sure wlfc1 and myself were members here before Little John :rolleyes:
You were members before me but you really only seemed to start posting on these threads a few months ago. your names were mentiond as they are ones that stood out at the time. I did say that there were others and also mentioned you have mellowed. I just cant remember who they were and I had just woke up a short time before typeing it and was still in bed.
After catching up on todays posts !!!!!! are these newbies on we now have platinum r+r from postie, hows the selling of the GTi going? and a diamond r+r from someone whos name starts with an H and I cant wait for the daimond encrusted Gold one or what ever it was !!!!!! they just make the newer people reading ask more stupid questions, at least with the whats a SEL and whats an r+r it could be answered in a few words like read the first post or two but the whole repeated its an r+r when the CSA doesnt mark the recipt so you can return it and get another refund "Free money"
And just so we dont get any questions
CSA = customer services asssitant
TS = Trading standards
ASA = Advertising standards agency
SEL = Shelf edge label
r+r/R&R = !!!! knows but it involes tesco giving stuff for free (refund and retain I think normally)
Tesco customer services phone number 0800 505555
If you need any more info read the first post its normally there
Im tired and Im going to bed, I may have an hour on superman that I picked up today.0 -

Infact do you want me to call them for you?:mad: I am sure you will work it out. I did think of another brilliant coment to write here about another major learning curve but I expect it would have upset you. etc.......

thank you for a non agressive normal post.
this situation has never happened to me however i would suggest as its a high value item you try phoneing head office making sure you emphasise the bad customer service that you recieved and that it makes you not want to shop at tesco's again.
whats £180 quid now to them compared with a lifetime of your custom taken else where!0 -

Apologies if the 'Diamond R&R' post upset anyone.
On reflection I guess it doesn't add much in terms of misprice discussion and may indeed add to some confusion. (although is that a bad thing with Mr T reading the thread. Hope KK was taking notes and can pm me just to make sure I'm up to speed.)
However it doesn't really add or detract from the thread any more or any less than discussing who coined the phrase 'golden R&R'.
I guess its a fine line between keeping the tone / content enjoyable, light hearted yet still making a point and just plain upsetting people.
The original post re 'Diamond R&R' post was in fact raising the point that a misprice was listed in the misprice thread by a new user who seemed to say that they had an R&R on an undercharge, which in itself could confuse newbies, so there was some point to it. I guess the tone was over the line for some.
So once again aplogies all.
I have to say though that the term did give rise to a post stating ...
'I had a Diamond R&R on a partridge'
Which for some reason had me in stitches at the time and chuckling since.
Perhaps I'm a little too childish for all this.0 -

what i need to know is do i have a case on the xbox?
sorry for the rant but adrenaline is rushing about my body and needs an exit.
Well.............In my opinion, you have a clear cut case, everything they have done, or offered you, indicates that they accept they have ovecharged you.
This isnt a case of a mispriced game causing the bundle price to be wrong.....its a straightforward mis price, caused by an incorrect price being on display.
I would go back to the store and speak to the store manager.
Obviously tell him the full story, and also the accusations you got from his staff.
If he is "pig headed" and still refuses you, then the only other option is HO.
You could ask the manager if you can speak to HO, in his presence,
If you still get no where, as some of the CS at HO, arent experienced in this sort of stuff......or again are just pig headed, then the last step(before TS) is an email/letter to Sir Terry himself.
As I said, this seems a clear mis price, and really there isn't much argument, can be put up against it.
Ps...Why the reference to Woolworths.......didnt understand that bit.Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
