the took ALL the misprices off sale  not a one to be had. gutted!!
What an abosolute joke! :rotfl:For an organisation that is projected to generate profits of about £2.5 billion this year they are relying on a public internet forum to sort out their own blunders. Also what a cheek if they ever argue against a valid r&r because the individual may have obtained the details from the same forum.0 -

i agree m8, lets start to show them that every 1 of us equals 100 customers that have been over charged and not realised.
photo the lot sel's and reciepts and complain to Trading Standards EVERY TIME you get overcharged.
It doesn't matter if they think i/you/we are bananamen!!!
EACH TIME THEY OVER CHARGE THEY COMMIT A CRIMINAL OFFENCE.
tesco already have convictions on this front and they can't afford any more or the directors will end up in the pokey.
so even if you get your money complain to trading standards do not walk away and let them think they bought you off.
its a disgrace that in this day and age that a huge company treats its customers in such away with contempt.
the thing that gets me on here the last few days are the stories that are becoming more and more about people being accussed of changing sel's and made to feel as if they are in the wrong and they have done nothing of the sort. jsut so the incompetent manager/store doesn't lose more profit. price your goods correctly and you wont have to give it away free!!!!
the govenment should make the tesco policy law with all traders. that way they'd soon learn to get their prices right.
so martin if your watching how about talking up the tesco policy and getting tony bLiar to go with the tesco policy for all traders.
find your local trading standards
http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/search/dbase/searchlocal.cfmbravia sel 799.97 scanned 799.99 bought 7th dec at 1.28. thanks for the pm's but plz stop me box is bursting:j0 -

I have just been seraching for the local Tescos near my parents have and come across a Tesco HomePlus-never heard of these, what is it? likely to get much from it?
Homeplus do everything that an Extra does except the food & wine & yes there are plenty of R&R opportunities - and also scanners in these new stores.
Last time I was in I got 2 Barbie toys with large OOD SELs. The lad left the OOD SELs, told me the policy, congratulated me & encouraged me to go back for more!
They also have Argos style Tesco Direct ordering - collect at store or home delivery. Pick up one of their small leaflets on the way in (living room picture on the cover - Xmas tree, fireplace, presents etc) and it's got a voucher in it £4 off spend of £20 or more in store ('til 31.12.06).0 -

"golden" r+r was an unmentioned thing on here, during the first console cockup we got alot of new people posting wifc1, leadhead, Plush Chris, Itscheapandiwantit and a load of others all started askng questions openly about getting a 2nd refunds and other stuff that were really thought of as the darker side of r+r. most of those mentioned have mellowed and are great assets to the forum but everytime the consoles or a hue r+r crops up we get the same hysteria and a load of new people posting questions. at the moment the postman is seen as a god apparently, he has been "attacking" stores as a group and has had a lot of stuff in a short period of time. but I and most other people realise you cant go at it like that if you want to stay in the game you never know what is round the corner
I think it was leadhead how gave it the name and everyone now openly does it, before it was a we do it but dont talk about it. I personally think it should go back to that was as there are so many questions and early on arguments over it that it is a risky topic to discuss and the ethics thread was created to deal with it.
I can't actually remember posting about goldens? and i'm not actually a new poster.
personally find the whole golden thing quite boring !, I don't really care if anyone got a golden, diamond or platinum.0 -
I agree Chubby brown, I have only been on here for a few months now, but the last few weeks there seems to be some really aggressive managers and staff out there from what people have said on here, has it always been like this or is this getting worse because the site is growing and they are getting more people getting refunds. I hav'nt been spoken to like this but think I would just walk out with the product and just complain to head office. The post yesterday where the manager was standing over the person shouting at them in the middle of the store is aweful, I would not have stood for this at all. :mad:0

"And if things don't add up ~ In the unlikely event you are charged a higher price than on the shelf or the product we will refund your money and you can keep the product"
Understand this, but what about signs outside store. Never had r+r, going to have another look tommorrow, but don't fancy having an argument with cs on my first time (if I find something that is!)0 -
