What a shame, I don't live near Dundee so will never have the honour of meeting him, yet I feel like I already know him, especially now his picture has been posted :rotfl: :rotfl:
When they say Dundee they mean the Head Office you call.

Well its not head office really its just a call centre. In Dundee.

If you phone up about an Xbox misprice there's a good chance you'll get to talk to him as he is often referred to as the xbox Dept by the call centre.

As a customer service manager he is, in his own words, as high as you can get. There is no one higher up than him, his decision is final.Of course some customers experiences suggest otherwise but there you go, thats life.

Yeah, I mean any promotional sign outside. Can the cs or manager refuse r+r because it doesn't mention any outside signs in the policy- only on shelf or on product?

you might like to quote this:

And if things don't add up
    • In the unlikely event that we overcharge you we will give you your money back and you can keep the product.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
They've got cars big as bars

  • promotional stands and car park adverts often get overlooked...but not by me!

Dont go back to the same store, if the recipt is marked r+r or refunded it will be difficult and proberbly not worth trying.

"golden" r+r was an unmentioned thing on here, during the first console cockup we got alot of new people posting wifc1, leadhead, Plush Chris, Itscheapandiwantit and a load of others all started askng questions openly about getting a 2nd refunds and other stuff that were really thought of as the darker side of r+r. most of those mentioned have mellowed and are great assets to the forum but everytime the consoles or a hue r+r crops up we get the same hysteria and a load of new people posting questions. at the moment the postman is seen as a god apparently, he has been "attacking" stores as a group and has had a lot of stuff in a short period of time. but I and most other people realise you cant go at it like that if you want to stay in the game you never know what is round the corner

I think it was leadhead how gave it the name and everyone now openly does it, before it was a we do it but dont talk about it. I personally think it should go back to that was as there are so many questions and early on arguments over it that it is a risky topic to discuss and the ethics thread was created to deal with it.

Sorry, can't take the credit for the name "Golden".......although I did defend the ethics of it rather vehemently.................

I cant remember wlfc1 , itscheapandiwantit, or even Plushchris going on about it either.

I dont really see why it should be kept "on the dark side".....as its just a further legal exploitation of Tesco's policy.

Although I must admit, its getting boring, reading about Platinum and now Diamond RandRs.........and it doesnt seem to add anything to the thread.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
