It makes me suprised that you all give such detailed accounts on here - You all know full well that alot of Tesco Managers read this and will be able to recall you from the details given.
so would you be kind enough to edit your post and let the other poster edit too;) please

You have to be careful of the wild snakes in the area, don't you find.
  • go easy on me , 1st time poster on the tesco stuff . Right theres a big item i found which scans for 3 pence less than the sel . I dont want to say what it is till i suzz it out with you people and then let you know how i got on . Now how is tesco when it comes to being under charged ,. in this case by 3 pence .
    something missing
  • Hey dashy,

You never did post the in date coupons you promised after sending out of date coupons for a swap. Thought I'd post here since you won't answer my pm's

Great thread by the way, thanks op. Popped my r'n'r cherry with 6 rolls for £1, got a whole £1.14 back  Gonna take notes from here and get busy
Student loan no more ;) paid off
  • if it is an undercharge ie ticket says 99p, you are charged 96p then nothing. you got it for less than advertised, so your not out of pocket.

if the ticket says 96p and you are charged 99p then you are overcharged, be that 96p ticket on the shelf, on the product or on a poster/banner/leaflet etc. then you can claim r&r.

    hope this helps.
roll on december 26th : i want my house back!!!!

got it back, just the bloody tree to go now!!!!!

Sorry just so iv read the above right - The item scans for LESS than the SEL, So for example you are saying the SEL states £1 and scans for 97p?????

    they should do that now

Quite right, it baffles me that the dont. There is a big sign from Tesco HO stating the stores national, and possibly international policy and yet some members of the CS department and Store managers seem to take it upon themselves to change the policy. Why? Who knows. Maybe a GOD complex maybe because they are worried they will get in trouble but at the end of the day what should be done is simple. The Tesco board of Directors, Marketing department and sales department have decided that if a customer is overcharged they are entitled to a full refund and the product, who is a mere employee to disagree?

If you work for CS refund the item then blame the manager of the section where the over pricing occoured because they are the only ones guilty of anything and that is not doing the job Tesco pay them for!
