    Quite right, it baffles me that the dont. There is a big sign from Tesco HO stating the stores national, and possibly international policy and yet some members of the CS department and Store managers seem to take it upon themselves to change the policy. Why? Who knows. Maybe a GOD complex maybe because they are worried they will get in trouble but at the end of the day what should be done is simple. The Tesco board of Directors, Marketing department and sales department have decided that if a customer is overcharged they are entitled to a full refund and the product, who is a mere employee to disagree?

    If you work for CS refund the item then blame the manager of the section where the over pricing occoured because they are the only ones guilty of anything and that is not doing the job Tesco pay them for!

    Iv never known of ANYONE (Manager or otherwise) get in trouble for giving an r+r - H/O do NOT penalise stores that give out r+r's as they know the policy is just simply being followed.

    It makes me suprised that you all give such detailed accounts on here - You all know full well that alot of Tesco Managers read this and will be able to recall you from the details given.

    It wasn't that detailed that sneaky manager will know... didn't say the sex of manager,type of meat or price.
    I have seen more detail on here than I have given.
    Anyway if sneaky manager is reading sneaky manger should be grateful I didn't mention the huge spot on the end of their nose Oops!

    Then why do they make it so difficult, and I'm not talking big bulk buying but normal shopping that has been overcharged??

    you want me to "lose" this letter? :confused:

    I have the power :o
    TBH I am kind of looking forward to it as it will clearly demonstrate what low esteem Tesco's hold their customers and allow me to satisfy the urge for revenge I have following me being confronted by two management sorts for having the audacity to ask for an R&R.

    I am a resolute sort of fellow, both physically and emotionally but despite this I found the embarrassment and intimidation oppressive and it did cause me to lose sleep.

    At the risk of sounding like I am having a rant, this damned company advertise a policy, the advertisement encourages people to seek out the overcharges, then pillory their customers for doing so. They should either !!!!!! and pay up or remove the policy, they should not be allowed to have it both ways.

    <sorry for going on>

    Yes - 20 440ml cans. If you see an A5 size, yellow sel, it has a list of the different beers on that promo.
