TescoEmployee wrote:Iv never known of ANYONE (Manager or otherwise) get in trouble for giving an r+r - H/O do NOT penalise stores that give out r+r's as they know the policy is just simply being followed.
Ok so why refuse it or interegate those who use it? (I am not suggesting you personnally do or dont, I mean it generally) This policy can only have been passed by those in the highest echelons of Tesco's hierarchal structure so why not honour it everytime. They earn the big bucks and make the rules so why rufuse to implement them. If they made a mistake its their fault not yours. I am sure if a director told you to r&r an item personally you would, so why not do it when they have told you to in writing?
As I said before if you want to hassle someone hassle the manager who hasnt done his job, not the customer.0 -

What they would get into trouble for with HO is having wrong prices displayed and therefore causing r&r. Managers try to cover up wrong prices at store level by refusing r&r.0 -
I have been reading and am determined to find a few r and r myself. What do you say when you get to the cs?0

usually - hi, i think i have been overcharged. im sure the ticket/poster/banner said this was this much, but ive just been charged that much. if they offer difference, then i say i have nticed your policy on the board behind you - big blue 'our promise' board, bottom section, or i got overcharged on a cd the other week, and got told by the lady on the desk that it was tesco fault, and that i would get my money back and keep the cd.0
