That really sounds too trivial a reason.
You drive in, you drive out. If you are more then the allotted time then a fine arrives in the post a couple of weeks later.
The car park signs clearly state if you overstay then your details will be provided by DVLA. And they are.0 -

they could give a vague answer but it would have to be down to the judges or solicitors
My friend (policeman) has found dvla details for me when i wanted them (but he shouldn't have really) I'm pretty sure all requests for information are recorded so Tesco asking for info ?0 -

In the misprices thread people are saying what something will scan at in comparison to the SEL. How do I know that when I go to my local Tesco that it will scan at the different price?
sometime the products are stickered with a lower price than the sel...........usually a good indicator of a misprice. When things in life start to weigh heavy on your shoulders, and people all around are having a go, just smile and think.......Fxxk em!0 -
Nenen wrote:Personally, I think it DVLA should only be allowed to give info if the owner has committed a proven illegal act or the store can give strong evidence of a suspected illegal act that they intend to prosecute!
I suspect the statement from property owner (ie filling in form) that car is there illegally is all the evidence thats needed.
I believe if a car is dummped on my drive I can request details of registered keeper from DVLA.
Of course it all depends on finding a member of staff prepared to lie on an official document.0 -

Ok...to be honest. I didnt even know they did work......I honestly thought it was just a bluff.
And does anyone, know anyone this has happenned to.....if so...I stand corrected.
Edit to my edit....youve answered my question below......Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

It is hard to believe. I only know for sure because I got a fine from just such a car park.(not tescos!)
So it is simple and possible but it would require a lie to be told in the context of tescos we have been discussing.0 -

This wasn't a Tescos. It used to be a free car park for up to four hours, but had changed to two hours and put the automatic system in.
There was no sticker or signs put on my car, I literally didn't know anything about it till the fine came through the post.
If you ask they send you the pictures from the automatic cameras.
My address details came from the DVLA.0 -
