  • Slightly off topic but anyone have any spare uniball/asda coupons that they will not be using (will send a SAE) - I can give them a good home ;o)
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

  • Doctor Who, £54/£59
My first possible golden R&R & they won't accept it coz it's not sealed & copyright laws.

    Tried in 2 stores, Grrrrr!!:confused::confused:

Any one else had any luck getting a refund on a non sealed DVD/Game/CD?
whether a golden R&R or a 'normal' refund with unmarked receipt?

Tell them it jumps, and they'll replace it with a sealed one.......take the sealed one back to another store....................

(If they havent got one, they should then refund)

Some stores refund, some stores won't....

Addendum........You should always refuse "unsealed" media....if its the last copy....tell them to write "sold unsealed" , on your receipt............even if it is an RandR
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

  • yeah cause most of my stores sell games unsealed

Makes it tough to refund / sell on the bay etc!!

  • One of the stores I use sell games unsealed but put them yellow security stickers oven them.

Next time I might ask for this in the other stores, then when I sell it on ebay I can advertise it as 'security sealed'
  • Found this one

    Sims 2 pets PS2 game

    SEL £22.9x Scans £29.9x

Look out for the old SEL as most stores had the new one but it is out there !!

Well its the first time I've felt guilty about an R&R. Bought 4 packets of the famous pork chops. After briefly stepping outside I took them up to the CS desk. I showed her the SEL and she took the big yellow offer one off and we head back to the till. Her colleague then politely asks me if I could go back and take the other 2 labels off that mention £4.28.

She then refunds my money, after furious writing in her big book, then hands me my chops, then after further scanning etc, refunds my money again. At this point I say "No, you've already given me the money". "No", she says, "I have to give you this". "Erm..... OK" I say "Thanks!" and I head out the door. Very strange, and I hope she doesn't get in too much trouble for it.

Just got back from a visit to Mr T. Picked up Nokia 6070 on Tesco Mobile, £59.97 but should have £20 off due to their offer. Discount not taken off and only £20 refunded at Cs desk.

Opinions wanted on if this should be a full rnr and what steps I should take next if any.

They didnt mark receipt as £20 refunded either, if thats relevent.
