I personally don't mind misprices being posted more than once...because it shows that these misprices are still happening....and are still out there for the takingThey've got cars big as bars
They've got rivers of gold
But the wind goes right through you
It's no place for the old0 -
Slightly off topic, but has anybody tried to use the coupons from the sainsburys 2007 calendar through the self scanners at T's yet, and any idea what they are scanning at?{Signature removed by Forum Team}0

Now deliberating if I want more than this because of the embarressment factor.
Thanks for this. Do you mind me asking what the value of the R&R is?0 -

Ok, so why not thank the original poster then, this misprice is still happening because the meat was put out early at the backs of the shelves. I suspect that the price is due to go up because the correctly priced meat had a best before date of 7th or 8th of December, whereas the higher pack meat was best before the 10th and 11th of December.
This has brought about 5 or 6 days of good misprices, the beauty of this particular one was it was across the board on all pork chops, as the 2/3 in a pack, 4 & 6 in a pack all had the same kg to pound value.
I just get a little tired of reading through the board to see the same one over and over again. More importantly people thanking newer posters while the original finder gets no thanks. If you find a post useful and benefit from it you should always thank the original poster, not claim it as your find and glory in it. I am not suggesting by quoting you sopplayer that you do this.I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -
orainsear wrote:Problem is that sometimes there is so much rubbish posted on the misprice only thread that it can be difficult to see what is posted. I think it's been mentioned before but perhaps some sort of proforma may be useful - if the first post contains the proforma and everyone after that either copies and pastes/quotes and edits it?
I think if you just had a policy of thanking posts on the basis that you have also received the same goods would be better, that way you could easily identify if this is store specific or nationwide.I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -
So is the chops rnr not going anymore, have they change the price now? or if they still have packs dated 11/12 dec these will still be rnr able0

I don't wish to harp on too long about this, but over on the misprice thread we seem to get a ridiculous number of repeat misprices, for example:-
#1295 by rocdrake on the 4/12, misprice on pork chops SEL £4.28 packet £4.98.
I agree, Im proberbly not the only one who uses a PDA while in stores or carpark and trawling through the "I got that too" posts is annoying. Especailly when the post is made on the same page.sopplayer wrote:I personally don't mind misprices being posted more than once...because it shows that these misprices are still happening....and are still out there for the taking
Its not so bad with games and consoles etc (no there is no r+rable console BTW) but meat r+r's are totally hit and miss with all stores, some stores re-label all their stock others don't some remove the old stock others leave it there to overcharge people it all depends on who is putting the new stuff out.littlel wrote:So is the chops rnr not going anymore, have they change the price now? or if they still have packs dated 11/12 dec these will still be rnr able

hit 3 extras last night... pretty meagre... happy cs at one store refunded 3 packets of meat and showed me the misprice list faxed to them and highlighted the pork chops, their mistake, R&R with a smile...
next store, chirpy chubby ginger manager asked me to show him the misprice, fumb duck said i had been charged correctly, at 4.98/kg, couldnt understand why i wanted a misprice, only offered refund so i said ok... he took meat away but was takin to someone just out of eyeshot of the CS lady, she refunded me and i said i felt i had been overcharged... she goes ohhh sorry well i agree but the manager has taken the meat away... so i called him from round the corner, meat in hand and took it off him and put it in my bag. wee ginger fud was shocked.
last store they said cos the SEL for pork had 6/8 in tiny writing in the corner that price was for 6/8 pork chop packets... couldnt be ersed fightin, asked for a refund, they said cos it had been out the fridge they couldnt refund me?! so i said ok just refund my goonies triple pack while i'm here.
feel its unethical but i might go back and take some stickered dvds for a further r&r, i'm miles away from my own catchment anway this w/e.  R&R since 1/12/06 = £549:shhh:
