IMO that's what should make a woman/man of the year. It's relatively easy to lose weight when everything is going well, but you've been incredibly dedicated to keep going to group throughout all you've had going on.
    Go Dizzy, rah,rah,rah :T:j

Congratulations Maman and Mrs M - you're both inspirational :)

Ladies (and gents if there are any out there), is it time for a new thread do you think? We're over 100 pages long now (which I understand slows the board down) and summer is virtually over (I know, I'm gloom-laden). Let me know and I'll start a new one over the weekend if you would like :)

    :o:) Awww thanks bighug.gif :A

I'm all in favour of a new shiny thread too if you wouldnt mind doing one x x

My trousers are falling down but is that because I've lost a bit of weight or have they just stretched as it's the third day of wearing them?

That was me dizzy. Toasting the WW bread really helps to make it substantial, otherwise it's like air! I agree it makes an easy sandwich choice for lunch plus you can have a slice with breakfast as well. It's probably psychological but I really prefer my egg/beans etc on toast. It feels like a proper meal when you cut into it and I think the more 'normal' our food the less chance of giving up.

I knew it was someone CLEVER who mentioned it :T:T meditationf.gif

It really has been a godsend this week for me while being away at BILs, and I totally agree that toasting it lightly for a sandwich gives it far more 'bite' and makes it more filling somehow.

Hello to old faces and new.

I've had a few months off and am trying desperately to get back into it properly. I seem to be able to follow the plan for a week then drift off....but it is only me that can do it I know. Perhaps I need to keep posting to keep me on track.

I noticed DIZZY that we are holiday twins... I am going to Cuba in 4 weeks time!!!! We both did Mexico last time and both doing Cuba this time LOL. We are doing 3 nights in Havana and 7 in Varadero, how about you?

I'm off to test out the gym at the Hilton today with OH in a hope that it will spur me back into it. It is the only place round by me that has a pool and who are likely to speak English. It is pricey but we'll probably just buy a 10 visit pass rather than sign up for months.

    Hellloooo Trixie dancegirl2.gif

    Welcome back !

yup we seem to be following each other around the globe on our Hollibobs :rotfl::rotfl:

We can't go until Nov 6th (after I get my magic ear processor fitted & its all Okay). Were doing 21 nights, 3 days in Havana then the rest in Guardalavarca - cant wait :).

    Hello
I'll nip in here quickly before the new thread's up and running - thanks Consultant.
Green for me, although I think I might try an EE day this week just to see how I get on.
    boiled eggs and toast (b)
carrot and lentil soup and maybe some pagens (b)
sort of roast (roast potatoes and a variety of other veg, not sure what I'll have for protein, maybe a nut rissole? Will see what MrS has got in)
    fruit and yog for snacks.

Have a good Sunday all xx
Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.

Clever, moi?:o I do miss that 'rolls eyes' smilie!

Yes please consultant. I think a new thread's a great idea. There will be lots of people coming back refreshed from their holidays having resolved to do something ready for the party season.

Welcome MissP, your mindset sounds great. I find posting on here is far better than doing a SW food diary plus you get a lot of support and few laughs along the way.

    My EE plan for today:
B: 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: tomato & cucumber sandwich, plums (whole punnet so I'll eat lots as no SF at breakfast)
D: roast chicken, parsnips, pots, carrots, cabbage, real gravy and stuffing

Syns: wine and stuffing for the first time since Christmas!!:D (:o:eek:)
