Well Done Dizzy for achieving woman of the year, and not even being at the class when they voted you, you must feel fab, what an honour :T:T:Tsorry but I struggled to work out what you meant by BF and finally decided you meant Boy Friend. Was quite disappointed to realise you mean breakfast
Hope you all have a lovely weekend, nice and sunny too, keep up the good work all x0 -
Well I have been trying calorie counting and failed miserably so will be going back to SW on Thursday. I am planning on making chicken breast for dinner tonight stuffed with a Laughing Cow xtra light cheese triangle (1 syn) with home made wedges and a pile of salad. I want to make some coleslaw too, am going to use xtra light may and fat free yogurt. Had fruit for breakfast with a muller lite (1 syn) and for lunch prawns and salad.
It is so nice to be able to graze at fruit without counting0 -

I'm going to have a look at Minimims in a bit, do you find it good?

I'm back on plan- wearing those Blinker things that they give to horses so I can't see any naughty food
I like having a nosey round minimims - lots of diaries to get inspiration from, and syn values, recipes etc.confused57 wrote: »DIZZY - Forgot to say WELL DONE on being voted WOMAN OF THE YEAR - that's fantastic (I can see how you would feel a tad guilty though!!!) :rotfl::rotfl: until I get my new magic ear.......then I will be the BIONIC WOMAN
Yup I fell dramatically from the tank, and didn't even care who saw me :(:p Damn those pesky PMT fairies.....I've avoided them my entire journey - but they caught up with me big time.
I was really quite touched being awarded woman of the year, especially as there are members there who have lost more weight than me.....but seemingly I was voted for because I've carried on going to class when I was on the zimmer, then crutches after the other Ops and with this last one I've not missed many classes.
I reallly need to do some serious dieting this week as I can't face them all next week with a mahooooosive pizza & fruit pie induced gain:eek::rotfl::o!!!!0 -
Hi all!
Did my weigh in and I've lost 4lb in my first week so very very happy. My naughty OH and Sister had a mahooosive pizza last night and some how I decided to have quorn sweet and sour chicken bites with boiled rice. I don't know how I did it but I felt so proud of myself waking up this morning.
Today is looking like this- Red
B- Weetabix (a and b)
L- Scan bran and quark with ham
D- Tandoori chicken made with FF yoghurt and tandoori powder. Big salad and some fruit.
Had a nice big lick of some nutella out the jar cuz I have syns to use and it felt like I was cheating hahaha!
Dizzy your post made me laugh alot, I was like a woman possesed the other week and normally pmt doesn't affect me. I eat everything I saw.

Inspired by maman posting on another thread that she had reached target, I have decided to (re)-recommitt to SW. I don't have an online membership anymore but still get the mag and have the syn values oc basic foods/plan details etc. So I hope you'll let me come here for image therapy!
Today is red, here's what I have eaten so far:
BF: toast. Cheese (HEB and A)
L: Fritatta with ham and mushroom, tomatoes and cucumber, melon. Cooked with 1 tsp olive oil (2 syns I think)BBQ - will stick to chicken skewers and avood the sausages!
I've had a fajr amount of fruit as snacks and milk.
I'm really limited for cooking as my kitchen is being done, so am relying on the remoska, a george foreman grill and microwave!Trying to keep in budget.

IMO that's what should make a woman/man of the year. It's relatively easy to lose weight when everything is going well, but you've been incredibly dedicated to keep going to group throughout all you've had going on.
Go Dizzy, rah,rah,rah :T:j
Congratulations Maman and Mrs M - you're both inspirational
Ladies (and gents if there are any out there), is it time for a new thread do you think? We're over 100 pages long now (which I understand slows the board down) and summer is virtually over (I know, I'm gloom-laden). Let me know and I'll start a new one over the weekend if you would likeI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Have you used all your HEA today Karen? I often have a single Laughing Cow and just cut back on the day's milk, usually by switching to Earl Grey. Provided I can have milk in my tea in the morning, I'm happy to have it black later.Inspired by maman posting on another thread that she had reached target, I have decided to (re)-recommitt to SW.I'm so excited that I've shared my news with all my virtual friends. Welcome gien, this is a lovely friendly thread too. You'll get all the support and advice you could need and a laugh along the way.

That was me dizzy. Toasting the WW bread really helps to make it substantial, otherwise it's like air! I agree it makes an easy sandwich choice for lunch plus you can have a slice with breakfast as well. It's probably psychological but I really prefer my egg/beans etc on toast. It feels like a proper meal when you cut into it and I think the more 'normal' our food the less chance of giving up.
Have a good evening everyone. We're staying in tonight with a nice SW curry!0
