    Morning ladies!
Sorry to hear about your problems Dizzy. Hope you're OK?

Thanks for asking Gunsandbanjos - I'm plodding on, doing lots of stuff at home to keep myself busy, better than I thought I'd be to be honest - life goes on.

Anyway, today's food will be something like....

Breakfast - cereal and milk (A and B choice)
Lunch - dried noodles smothered in soy sauce (free), grapes
Tea - weather dependent - if its cool I'll make a veggie curry but if not it'll be cod (a bit yukky but am trying to eat more), potato wedges and peas

Snacks - strawberries, maybe something out of the graze box (have stopped these for a while now I'm watching the pennies more intensely!)

More house tidying and decorating to be done today - its pouring outside so I may try putting together some self assembly furniture - Wait for the air to turn blue!

    Morning all
I've booked a spin class for lunchtime today, eek! I'm really trying to up the exercise and have fancied trying this for a while. Fingers crossed my legs won't fall off.
So green for me as ever:
    Yog and fruit
Will have some toast later before spinning
    Pasta salad
Then meeting a friend at TGIs for dinner so will save all my syns for that and hope there's something sensible I can choose. Now there's a challenge....

hi, trying to get my head around EE and am looking for some help with a lasagne i have made for tea tomorrow night.

lasagne sheets - are these free (2 sheets per individual lasagne dish)
    mince extra lean - free?
veg in sauce, passata - free?
    stock cube - free?
Dolmio white sauce - 23 syns (found on google) split over 3 people - 7.5 syns

sounds too good to be true..? and also could i have free SW chips and a Superfree salad or fruit for afters?

    thanks

There's a recipe on the SW website thats uses 0% natural fat free yoghurt, eggs and nutmeg as the white sauce in lasagne. Also there is red pepper and courgettes in the meat sauce. Even with the parmesan sprinkled on the top it only works out at 1.5 syns each on EE. It's lovely and has become a staple meal in our house. We have it most weeks. HTH

Things I forgot to post earlier......!

Zippy, hugs, sorry your having to have more surgery but atleast its not another GA! Hope it goes well xx

Dips for veggies.....I make 2 sauces that are a variation on the red and white kebab sauces from the 'Takeaway secret' book. I've adapted them to make them more sw friendly.

    Garlic Mayo:

4 tablespoons LF mayo (i have used FF yogurt too but prefer the mayo)
    2 tablespoons water
1tsp mixed herbs (i use the italian mix)
    pinch of salt
    Garlic powder to taste

Mix it all togther, add more mayo or water if required to get a consistancy you like. Its best made a little while ahead to let the flavours develop.

    Chilli sauce

    6 Tablespoons ketchup
    2 Table spoons water
    1 tsp mint sauce
    Chilli powder to taste
    Pinch of salt.

Again, mix together and add more ketchup or water to get the right consistancy.

Hope your Japanese is up to standard or would that be Swedish?;)
Well done on your decorating, you seem to be getting an amazing amount done.

Anticipating that I'm going to get there very soon (:j:D) I'd like some advice on what to do at target. I believe the official line is to have more HEs but I was wondering whether it's possible to just have a few more syns, like one 'normal' meal a week? I think I remember someone saying they don't stick with the plan at weekends. Also do all you target members go to group every week and does it feel strange as 'old' friends disappear and newbies come along? I don't have scales at home but I was wondering whether to buy some and just call in at group when/if things seemed to be getting out of control? Ideas please:)

    EE plan today:

B: 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk with teas, NAS squash
L: Laughing cow & cucumber sandwich, fruit
D: baked cod, sweet potato wedges and roasted veg
    Snacks: more fruit if needed

We have a couple of long term target members at our group (both 2 yrs+) they both ALWAYS come to class every week when possible, as they say its what keeps them on the straight and narrow.

As for their maintenance strategies....one does the plan STRICTLY monday to friday - then allows herself a more relaxed weekend of whatever she wants (but doesn't ever go 'stoooopid' in her words:p) and she now knows exactly what she can get away with each week naughtiness wise. Plus having that + or - 3lbs at target is great as she has the next week to shift any 1lb that may appear from a really indulgent weekend away:)

The second lady does everything by the book and has only increased her HE's but she does do some flexi days occasionally for special treats. Both ladies maintain really well and have never been out of target as yet.........but I know which lady is having more fun :rotfl:;)
