I have lots of cleaning, decorating and tidying to keep me occupied and need to focus back on food too.
So today's food will be ...
Breakfast - cereal and milk ( most of the milk goes to the dog at the end) (B choice and A choice)
Lunch - cheese omelette ( A choice)
Tea - homemade veggie curry with onion, peppers, chickpeas and tomatoes
Snacks - fruit and yoghurt
I need to pop out for some fruit so will kill two birds with one stone (and me a veggie too:rotfl:) and walk the dog to the fruit shop.
Hope everyone else is ok?
Morning all.
WW, hugs to you for you OH problems. Glad you're keeping positive and finding plenty yo keep you busy!! Just looking at your plan, you look like you're having a green day but you only have 1HEB, you should have 2 on green...I'm sure you know that though!!
My day is EE, yesterday went a bit to pot. OH didn't want his tea as he had fish and chips late at work so I got a spinach and feta quiche thing out of the freezer for me. I'd made it ages ago and put it in the oven still wrapped in the foil it was in in the freezer. it wasn't till I came to eat it that I found it was 'proper' pastry, I thought it was filo!! So lots more syns thatn I thought although I did leave some of the pastry!!
Todays food will be:
Brekkie - porridge, pineapple
Lunch - tuna and rice salad, yogurt(0.5)
Tea - pork chop, roasties, loads of veg, gravy (3)
I think it was dizzy that mentione the shape crumble yogurts, I got some last week and have had a rhubarb one that was delish! I've got the apple one today.0 -
Right, having popped into here to say Hello a while back (probably longer than I think actually), I didn't end up getting on track properly. I blame my other half as he buys too much crap food! When I'm in the shops I have the willpower to say No and not buy it, but when it's in my fridge or cupboards, the willpower is not there.
So after some tears after looking in the mirror over the weekend, I've given the both of us a massive kick up the bum, and he had also realised that he has got a bit podgy lately too, and although he can eat and eat and not put on too much weight, and as he is tall it doesn't really show, he does want to tone up a bit more as he plays football.
So I am here properly now and it's the start of a new day, a new week and a new month.
It will be difficult for me to keep a proper and accurate tract of my weight as I'm also pregnant and expecting at the end of the year, however I did slimming world going to group (can't really afford it now though) through my last pregnancy and still did really well then so I CAN do it again. Plus really it's even more important for me to eat healthily so that baby gets everything it needs.
Do you think it would be a good idea to maybe also keep track of measurements, of maybe thighs, or [STRIKE]bingo wings[/STRIKE] arms for example that aren't really affected by being pregnant, as obviously there's no point measuring tummy measurements!! Or should I just keep track of weight anyway? I can't remember what to consultant said was best last time.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Hope you're doing OK Woofer? I can't bring myself to call you WW, that would be the ultimate in insults!:rotfl:

L: sandwich of something (probably Marmite & cucumber) plus fruitstir-fry with Golden rice and loads of veg

Hi Lisa
I usually cave in towards the evening and end up having something not on my plan - I'm saving a HEB for some nuts or something similar (maybe a cereal bar). With what I've eaten lately I won't waste away if I miss it out today! Thanks for noticing though!
Just back from walking the dog and a visit to the local shops - I was VERY restrained for me - bought strawberries, grapes, bananas, jacket spuds and new potatoes in the F&V shop and low cal squash, milk, beans, peas, dog food and diet coke in the Spar. See, I can be good when I try!
I shouldn't need more shopping until the weekend and will eat up what I can from the freezer and cupboards.
Right, I need to start tidying the next room for painting!0 -
Quick question - EE - do I HAVE to have meat with every meal? I normally do green but hubby wants liver & onions for tea so my plan is:
B - usual weetabix hot water/milk [.5a] coffee
S - massive fruit salad, onken
L - mugshot/new pots, p/white [2.5]
T - liver, onions, mash, peas, carrots, broc, cauli, gravy, possibly tsp corn flour [syns?]
Snacks - more fruit & yog & possibly a cheese twist [2]
Think theres more than enough superfrees over the day so not bothered that I had none for breakfast. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Afternoon Folks
Just signing in after a couple of weeks on holidays - was dreading standing on the scales the day after we came back, but to my great surprise I stayed the same - yay! Managed to eat fairly healthily whilst away, but didn't deprive myself either - it was very hot so my water intake increased, so that helped too. Also, there were so many lovely little restaurants with lots of fish to try - I think the portions on the continent aren't as big as over here, so looks like that didn't do me any harm either. My downfall was the wine - but hey, it's holidays - no point saving for something all year and working hard to get there, to miss out on nice wine and food
Today's plan is as follows;
B Pineapple and ML, Alpen Lite
L Baked spud with ham and salad, followed by strawbs
D Curried vegetable concoction thing I made yesterday - might have it in wholemeal pitta with lots of salad, or maybe some couscous - not sure yet…….
It's grim being back at work - nothing a win on the lottery wouldn't sort out………………
It has taken me ages to get through all the pages on this forum - hope you are all well - onwards and downwards!!!
