:wave:Just checking in for the day, it helps me so much to stay on track. Now I'm so close to target I keep thinking about plans to 'celebrate' and I'm not even there yet:o From a mse angle I still have a few things in the freezer (sausages etc.) that I plan to use up. I'm not going to go mad but I reckoned that a meal a week of 'synful' food would help clear my freezer and not do too much harm.

    Today's EE menu:

B: NAS squash, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA teas, satsuma
L: JP with roasted veg and loads of leaves (This was out in a tearoom. I was most impressed and as I had only a third of my HEB for breakfast, so I reckoned the oil in the veg wouldn't be too many syns.)
D: SW spag bol wth loads of SFs

    Syns: weekend wine:j

Have been good all week and then yesterday the OH bought CHINESE:( had S&S prawns cantonese and chicken chow mein as i figured they were the lowest syned things with boiled rice.

I'd say yes to producing a sandwich discreetly. I was at a funeral the other week and the food was absolute carp. It made me cross because I think the hotel took advantage of the family, any other day and I think they'd have complained loudly! So be careful in case people start asking you where you got the nice, fresh sandwich from!

    Well done on your 2lbs!

Do you have the curry recipe Zip? sounds like a good idea. I use Batchelor's Pilau when I want to imitate a take-out and that's syn free.

Just catching up now, thanks for the congrats

Maman the curry recipe is here and the paste recipe is here . You can buy pataks paste but i prefer to make my own and there would be syns in pataks. I used water in the paste instead of oil

I made the pilau rice (scroll down) as well - a big batch so the only syn was the 10g of butter used to make it - it's a fail safe recipe i've made over the years . I make big batches of curry and the rice and freeze ready meals. I made the curry with peppers, carrots, quorn chicken, chickpeas and lentils as the main bulking ingredients.

The funeral was a disaster. I took my own lunch but it all went down hill. I didnt touch the food, it was the 7 pints of beer and the ten cigarettes  I stopped smoking in may and dont drink pints for diet reasons - so after 7 pints i carted myself home, had a shower, rang the boyf to get him to come to my house ( i wasnt fit to cycle to his!) and then lay down and fell asleep.

He came over and i had a flapjack and a packet of crisps after the curry & rice. So all in all it could have been a lot worse i guess - not much though:o

I was really upset and yesterday just took me over. Back on track today. :p

Anyone know if this oil is free? It doesn't tell me what size a spray is but all it's nutritional info is a lot lower than the frylight per 100 g.

WOOPEEEE i think it is! isn't it spray oil less than 2 calories per spray?

    7. How many calories does one spray of L<C contain?

One Spray of L<C Olive or Sunflower contains 0.8 calories.

Tanks for the curry recipe zippy. We're going to start having one veggie meal per week to cut costs and cos its good for you so I'll give that a try sometime. All the ones I've picked out so far are curries, I think they can get away with not having meat easier than other things!!

    Today is EE:

    Brekkie - banana, grapefruit, yogurt
Lunch - WM pitta (HEB), chicken tikka, salad, sauce (3)
    Snack - yogurt, nectarine
Tea - chicken curry (3), rice, courgettes (there is veg in the curry too)
    HEA - milk in teas

I'm hungry now and tea won't be till 9pm!!! I think I'd best find a snack!
