  • hi all,

Sorry I didn't post yesterday but had a really, really carp day. I'm a foster parent and an allegation was made against me. Fortunately the social worker came and heard my side and agreed that the school was in the wrong. Did have to wait 3 hours though to find out if my children (who've been with me 3 years and will stay into adulthood) would be allowed to come home to me. never been so pleased to see that school bus arrive home!!!!

Just about managed to stick on plan throughout and today is going well so far.

    B: yoghurt and fruit
L: burger, roll (HEB) and salad mayo (1), ketchup (1) and dressing (1)
    D: hm spag bol.

Off to make a plan for the next week to keep us on track.

I just tried cottage cheese, it tastes like lumpy yogurt!?

Well, urm yes lol. I always add things to mine so like bkack pepper, or some celery chopped up or maybe some garlic. It is quite nice on jacket spuds nomnomnom.

It is suprising how different brands taste so different too. I love asda cottage cheese but detest tescos - go figure! No idea whats different but it is

    Thank you.

The irony was that I was accused of not feeding the kids enough - as if anyone in my house goes hungry!!!!!

Schools are a bit of a law unto themselves at times!

Hope its ok to join this. I re started SW yesterday.
Doing EE. I lost 2 stone last year but I stopped going to classes ( I work horrible shifts, so its difficult) and the weight has crept back on. I am determined this time. I'm like a stone off before August. I'm not going to classes due to my shifts but could do with the extra support. I also browse Minimins x

You are braver than me trying cottage cheese. Just the look of it puts me off!!! lol

Altho always said I would never try any quorn product (which I did the other night and enjoyed it) so theres hope yet that one day I might just try cottage cheese.

I have to say it was a bit of a moment, peeling back the lid giving it a stor and actually putting it in my mouth.

I don't really like yogurt either.

This afternoon I used the apple slicer/corer on some cooking apples, put a little water in the tub, nuked them for 1 minute and then left them (OK, I forgot about them and even walked the dogs) after 2 hours I remembered and dipped my spoon in some syrup to take the edge of the tang (2 syns per tbsp so not even 0.5) and it was actually rather nice and while a bit itchy, not too bad. Cooking apples are a pack of 5 for £1 in sainsbury at the moment.

Hi, I've just started SW and was wondering what the "Diet Coke Chicken" receipe is? Have tried an internet search but not come up with anything as yet.

    Thanks.

OK Ladies and Gents - Brace yourselves!...........

I have gone all day without a biscuit! A major acheivement after the last 2 or 3 days!:j
Hopefully, I'm back in the right frame of mind again.
After I posted last night I decided to take the dog out for another hour long walk to try to reduce any biscuit related poundage that was about to stick itself to me!

    Today's food has been....
Breakfast - Hifi bar (B choice)
    Mid morning - manky banana
Lunch - pasta and sauce (1 syn and 0.5 A choice for the milk) and frozen mixed berries
Snack - seeds from Graze box (B choice)

I think tea will be some sort of omelette (probably with cheese) and beans. Its shopping day tomorrow so there's not much fresh F&V in the fridge and I don't really fancy anything quorny from the freezer and I'm trying to stay low syn today.
I'll probably have a frozen Mullerlight too - must pop one in the freezer now while I'm thinking about it.

Will write a shopping list later full of nice but saintly things:A:rotfl:

WelshW - well done on the biscuit front!!

Having a flexi day today as lunch and dinner are meals out. Melon for breakfast, chicken salad from pizza express for lunch and round friends tonight for dinner and no idea what we are having. I am driving tonight though so will be on the diet coke!

Well done to all of today's and yesterdays losers. I lost 1 pound last night and still in the target range so happy with that. Dizzy Congrats on the loss and hope physio went ok.
