Hip hip! Weighed in and i've officially lost 4lbs in my first week.
I started DH on the plan a couple of days later and he said smugly when I told him about my loss since last Friday "Oh - the same as me so far then!" Oh well, at least it means he's up for cooking compliant meals!0 -

I am at work and have left my breakfast and lunch at home!!
I havent eaten anything today and am going to nip to tesco express at lunch - can anyone recommend ideas what I can get to keep me going? I dont have access to kettle or microwave so needs to be something I can unwrap and eat!!
i was thinking maybe some carrots and hoummous, does anyone know how much hoummous counts as a HEB and on which day?
I hope you managed to find something satisfying!
My favourite 'Finest Moroccan Couscous' is only 2.5 syns on a green day per pot but the larger pots last two lunches (in theory!) and are on offer - buy 2 for £3.50. They are VERY filling and also incredibly sweet.
I've also discovered that Tesco are doing three mini pots of reduced fat houmous (plain, red pepper and lem/coriander) in a pack. Most of one pot can count as a green HEB, and the remainder is no more than a couple of syns. It goes a long way with some veggie sticks.
Apart from that I'd go for a big pack of pre-prepd pineapple, mango or melon if it's feeling, syn free convenience you're looking for.0 -
Well done to all the losers
your'e all amazing!
Well had a terrible time in my exam this morning and straight after I was roaming the streets like a stray dog looking for cream cakes. I just wanted to binge  But I remembered about our challengeand I managed to resist ( well, the mini sainsb was closed for a refit and the M&S shelf was empty... then I remmebered the challenge
) but still managed to resist the damage!
So it is a green day today: HEA milk in tea
Bowl of cereal HEB milk
Strawbs & muller yog
Half tin Spag, 2x mini toast (HEb2) loadsa mushrooms and 2x egggs in frylight ( yes I eat eggs every day if I can, very filling adn def not impede loss!)
Dinner is chinese im afraid well I need cheering upMixed chinese veg & steamed rice 5 syns. Have a dime bar for 7 syns later along with more strawbs as I def need more superfree in there.
Just not that hungry today!
2 more exams tomorrow and I need to get them right so CBA spending time on cooking this evening. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Could anyone tell me how many syns are in this bar please.

I'm finding the syns online really faffy to use since they changed the website  it sometimes doesn't like what you type in and Ive found now that they have the 'chosen by you' line they are sometimes coming up under this heading first which is quite annoying.
If your book is an up to date one then I cant see any reason why it should be wrong? BUT you could make doubly sure by putting it through the syns calculator
oh-didnt know there was a syns calculator, but having looked at it,I dont think i can use it as the beans are mixed and dont think it allows for that.My directory is the latest one though.I was told it was a waste of time buying it but its proved useful here,?and good to browse.
Going away friday for posh restauraunt thingy.been ever so good, well ate free stuff and no syns,no bread today. ,trying to compensate.going to ring hotel now to see if they can run the menu by me.gulp!I may be a little economical with the truth though..0 -

you just put in the nutritional info from the can, kcal, fat, protein etc & the pack size.......you can do anything on it as long as you have this info0 -
